These wraps are so pretty and well made. Very nice beeswax wraps. I'm not sure they are practical for me. I spent 10 minutes trying to warm the set to pull them apart and ended up forcefully pulling them apart in some areas. I had wax on my hands that was slightly tacky even after washing my hands. Maybe I just don't have enough patience for these when trying to make dinner and put things away. Maybe they will get easier to work with over time. I used one on a glass bowl in the fridge and it did mold around the bowl but I don't think it is airtight like other wrap options. I feel like I need to wrap a strong rubber band around them to hold the shape.

I love beeswax wraps. I use them for everything. Basically anything that i would use foil or plastic wrap to wrap up something for the fridge. I have a roll of wrap that I use for large containers or baking pans but had to cut smaller pieces as needed. These beeswax wrap pieces are precut. This is so great! Just choose the size you want and wrap up your stuff! They do take a minute to warm up with your hands to get the pieces apart. After the initial separation from the herd, you can individually store them. It does help to remember was color is what size so you can easily choose which one you need. I love these precut beeswax wraps. I haven't used foil or plastic wrap for quite some time after starting on the beeswax wrap wagon. They seal and stay sealed better than other disposable options. They wash with soap and water and dry out quickly. A great choice for wraps.

I'm actually really surprised how well these work. I use plastic wrap for a lot of things and I kind of figured. These sounded like a good idea and I had seen them somewhere on the Internet before so I thought I would give them a try. I haven't used them like directly on fruit like they show with avocados or anything, but I had a little bowl that had some stuff in it and so I peeled off one of the small sheets and kind of crumpled it around in my hand to warm it up and then wrapped it over top of the opening, pressing down and making sure I was holding it firmly and it just mold it around everything nice and well and it kept it tight. One thing that I noticed is once it got in the fridge and of course immediately hardened and held in place. Now I wouldn't say this is going to be like a water tight seal or anything like that so I wouldn't say that you could tip something over like you could if you had like plastic wrap on it. For those cases, you need some containers with real good lids. But for wrapping things and covering them, these are great. You do just have to gently rinse them off and wash them and just hang them up to dry and when you do that, you do get a little bit of that beeswax on your hands so you have to kind of clean your hands after using it, but it's not a very big inconvenience.

Using beeswax embedded cloth as an alternative to plastic wrap sounds good on paper, but functionally, it’s not as great as I thought. As you can see in my photo, I tried to wrap the cloth around a 9” diameter ceramic dish using the instructions on video and box. I warmed the wrap with my hands and molded it over the rim of the dish. It takes a long time (5 minutes for me) to get the wax to conform to the dish. It’s not going to be a tight fit like the conventional plastic wrap. After sitting for a few minutes, the beeswax starts to lift up. I ended up using a rubber bad to keep it intact. Therefore, I probably won’t use this for leftovers that need airtight coverage. However, I did experience some positives with this product: 1) The attractive fabric makes for great temporary bowl covers at a picnic to keep the flies at bay. 2) It is easy to clean with COLD water and mild dish soap. Hang to dry over dish rack. Definitely NOT dishwasher safe or the wax will melt! Conclusion: The beeswax food wrap is indeed sustainable, but just not for me. It takes too long to wrap something. I just don’t have the patience.

I’ve been wanting to try beeswax wraps for awhile, and these Ever On Top! Beeswax Wraps have cute designs and are really easy to hand wash and use. They are essentially a cloth with a waterproof and slightly sticky, food safe coating that adheres really easily to itself or the food/bowl. I’m using it just as I would plastic wrap for wrapping produce, and it's actually easier to use because it doesn't get twisted up as I'm putting it on! The smallest size is just right for a medium sized apple, and the largest one fits well over half a watermelon. These are really useful and I wish I had ordered some sooner as I’m getting a lot of use out of them!

I have been curious about these plastic wrap style alternatives for a while now. Upon unboxing these wraps feel stiff but the instructions say to warm between your hands to soften and use. This worked quite well for me (in the summer, may be tougher in the winter when my hands are approximately the temperature of ice lol). I tested the smallest size wrapper two different ways. The first test was wrapping a piece of focaccia bread. I was able to make what felt like a good seal around the bread. One day later the bread was unwrapped and tasted pretty fresh still so that test was a success. The second test was wrapping the top of a small cup of water. I again had what felt like a good seal and jostled the cup, there seemed to be no leaking at this point. Then I inverted the cup and there was a leak on one side of the seal. Therefore, I probably won't be using these in situations where I am traveling with liquids and could make a mess. I'd expect more viscous items when traveling or liquid items just on the counter or refrigerator to be ok though.
