DON"T BUY THIS!
Do NOT buy this product. It worked for about 6 weeks, and failed. It is not returnable to Amazon. the customer support team is overseas, and I beleive production is there to. They won't ship a new unit to replacement, and I have WAITING on a replacement part to reach their FACTORY for 2 weeks now, and then they will ship the PART to me, and then....well I don't know....I suppose I will have to provide my own assemble and hope it works. this company is terrible, and I would excpect that Amazon at least would at least have better quality control on who they do business with at least. Either way, the customer LOOSES. TERRIBLE!

It has a water line input. <3
Humidifiers are useless if they're empty and I'm not diligent enough to refill it every day. It's raised the humidity in my house from 15% to 45% consistently across the whole house. And because it's connected to my RO line, I never have to fill it. Brilliant!

1200 model does NOT have an essential oil tray as pictured.
Just received the machine today and set it up. Shipping took several days and was shipped from Texas. Thats fine, and I received it before their estimated arrival date. The output is impressive - but the primary reason i picked this model is because its advertised and shown as having a tray in back of the machine to add essential oil. This 1200 model does not have that. There is just a large round hole in the back of the water tank - i assume to use some of the other accessories - (looks like a water supply system) but the accessories - or even how to use them - is not included anywhere in the manual. I emailed Vevor on their website for technical assistance - but i have a feeling the this model is being advertised incorrectly and it does not have the ability to add any oils into a tray (The larger models just use a cotton wick that the air blows by, you don't add it to the water). That said - this throws some serious fog. Picture is just the middle setting and does not do it justice. Unfortunately it may need to be retuned since I WANTED something that had an oil feature. Also - the temp is displayed in Celsius which is slightly annoying since it does not appear that can switched. Been running for about an hour and the humidity level is going up in the next room over according to the cheap digital monitor i have.Edit - I've filed for the return due to the lack of oil tray already - but let me tell you - if you don't have some serious water filtration system in your home - don't get this. I knew about the chance of "white dust" (the dissolved calcium and minerals) being distributed - but the amount of white dust left on everything in my house from just a couple days of use is unreal. It's literally on everything in the house - even with buying and dropping one of those calcium filters in the tank. It's collecting on the edges of my fridge the next room over, and I had a black garbage bag with items inside, sitting in the kitchen waiting to go in the car the next time I go to work (took a week off) and it's covered in white dust after just a couple days. It's unrealistic to be buying distilled water for this - when it can put 5 gallons of vapor in the air in under 24 hours. It's just unsustainable to live with something like that -for me - but if you have a way to supply it with water that has no minerals in it - it's a great performing machine. Too bad it doesn't have its own way to filter that out. Any of these large output ultrasonic machines will do the same - so if you want a "whole house" humidifier get a different kind, have a serious water filtration system, or be prepared to spend hundreds a month on distilled water. If you just want the house to smell nice - stick with a $20 tabletop model. Hope this helps.Update - finally heard back from this company. They didnt acknowledge the product is being advertised incorrectly IN EVERY AD on the internet, and they offered nothing in terms of “making their mistake right by the customer” or attempt to persuade me into keeping their product. This is the full response i waited over a week to receive.“ Hello,Thanks for your patience. Regarding your question,It is forbidden to add essential oils to this product, and there is no reservoir for essential oils on the back of this product. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.”So i guess Thats about what you can expect if you have an issue. They didnt even bother to address the fact their own manual doesnt show you how to use the accessories (which is a constant water feed system so you dont have to refill the machine - from what i can find in product descriptions)Deducting another star from the review - item awaiting return.
