Scotch® Removable Double-Sided Mounting Squares, 0.45 in x 0.45 in (1.14 cm x 1.14 cm) 36/pk

I hung three light frames (1.2 lbs each) and put 8 small squares on each. After an hour one came crashing down and when I got up the next morning the other two were down. Followed directions exactly.

I used these mounting squares all the time to hang posters and laminated charts around my home. The squares used to be a light foam and grey in color. I used them on tile, wood, and painted walls and never had a problem with them adhering or falling off after a period of time. Now... The "new adhesive" is terrible! The mounting squares are flatter and white in color. The same walls and charts that I hang (I rotate and update my charts often) with the new white adhesives are always falling off! I'm so disappointed. I've tried several packs and attempts giving the benefit of the doubt in case I happened to get a bad, defective batch. But so far the have all been like that. It's terrible. So now I will no longer be buying these and will be looking for a better product.

Not as described and shown in the listing the tabs are down as gray and foam with double sided sticky adhesive. The product is white double sided sticky and flat.

I used to use the ones that were bigger and had foam in between the sticky sides. I thought that that was what I was ordering when I got these ones instead. I admit I was skeptical at first, but these ones work great!

3M has reduced the size of the squares and the number in each pack while keeping the price up. The squares now have a wall side and a very hard to remove covering piece. Not as much fun as the ones they replaced.
