Great cordless phone only phone I will buy.

I needed to replace my 3-handset portable phones because they were 13 years old and giving me problems. I compared several brands on Amazon and Walmart.com and I realized that portable phones are almost obsolete; as such the technology really has not advanced that much over the past 10 years. As I read the online review summaries, there were some pros and cons for every single brand. Most brands had great sound quality and range, but limited battery life. Other brands had a lot of high-tech features but struggled in two or more rating areas. I finally decided to go with this AT&T 3-handset model because it had the least number of negative reviews for sound quality, which is a very important factor to me. The phone system arrived timely and was packed securely in its original packaging. It was fairly easy to set up as I had all 3 handsets plugged in and charging within 30 minutes. I've been using the phones for about 2 1/2 weeks now with no issues. The sound quality is very good, and I appreciate the large numbers. I was also pleased that it came with a detailed printed instruction manual that made setup and enabling the features simple. The one thing I noticed is that the keys are a bit harder to press than my previous phone, but now that I'm used to it, it doesn't bother me. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase. Only time will tell how long they will last. I only included a photo of the handset with the answering machine base for reference.

My neighbor got this and loved it so I decided to give it a try. I have been fighting Robocalls and telemarketers for years. I have been on the Federal Do-Not-Call list since it was started and it's had little effect on this nuisance. I'm not giving up, I've just found a way to get an upper hand in the fight. Setup is pretty easy but the options can be a little confusing. The printed guide really helps if you take the time to look at the call blocking options. I chose to just block Robocalls which will allow people to get through if they want to. Once set up, it really works. One thing I was dreading was adding my contacts to the "Allow" list. This model has a bluetooth option that will connect to your mobile phone and import ALL your contacts for you. It works SLICK! But consider removing contacts that you don't use anymore or you may have to delete them after the import. It seems to import ALL the numbers under a single name and you may not want two entries and phone numbers for the same person. This was my first day with the system and I highly recommend it. The features on this have been fantastic. I love the anti-robocall features. It can import contacts from multiple phones via bluetoooth and automatically whitelist them. But for others, it asks them to press # to continue, which eliminates robocalls. For callers with unknown or blocked names, it will ask them to record their name and then announce it. You can also manually add numbers to the whitelist. In the worst case scenario, a blocked call will be sent to the answering machine, so you can hear who called. I also love the ability to block a call at any time (before picking up, during the call, or after), as I know that there is at least one local business, with one guy, who refuses to stop calling despite being told numerous time. We have a landline that has had the same number since 1990, and so we are on every telemarketer list. I can't tell you how nice it is to not have to "run" from the bathroom to the phone, just to hang up on a robocall. I hear one other existing phone ring once, and then it's silence. I check the caller id, and so far it hasn't interfered in any legit calls. As far as the phones, they're sleek but easy to use. Good, big buttons, and the display is easy enough to read. It's a pretty standard size for these things. It will be some time before I can speak to the battery life.

Purchased this to replace my old ATT phones. Needed to intercom and long distance transmission. So far I'm fairly luke warm with these. They are OK but the connection to the base station becomes intermittent after about 69 feet and the sound quality is lacking. If you're looking to buy a phone as a disposable than this is it. But I wouldn't buy this again.

I have had this system for about 3 weeks but finally set it up last night. I have been completely inundated with scam callers for Medicare and other seniors benefits. I have had to unplug my landline to get some relief. I’m talking about 70 or more calls a day. “Do Not Call” doesn’t affect the number of calls because they have a huge database of numbers to choose from. I have already had over 60 calls today and NONE of them got through. The phone hasn’t rung once. I can’t even begin to tell you what a relief this is. It took me a while to set the phone up (about an hour) but I was very methodical and followed the quick start guide. If you are experiencing mass scam calls I promise you won’t regret this purchase.
