Great! I’ve been taking this brand for 4 years.

I was turned onto this iron supplement by a woman when we were donating blood. My iron level was 1/2 point above where it needed to be to donate. her level was off the chart. I asked what she uses and she told me about these pills. she was told about them by her doctor. since starting them my energy level is coming back up. Note: I am not a meat eater and I was not enemic before starting this supplement.

After receivign my box of Ferrex 150, I cut open the capsule and sure enough the powder was grey instead of rustbrown like my previous boxes. I immediately called Brakenridge Pharmaceuticals to ask questions. 1-800-367-3395 The lady in sales said that they had two different manufactures, on that used a charcoal base and one that used the rust brown base for the capsule. Well, that made me feel better but she had another point to make. If you are not buying from the pharmacy directly you can't really be sure the product is real. At the same time, someone would have to be going through a very elaborate and expensive hoax to duplicate the product and the packaging to make a little money.My product was shipped from NY by AM Wholesale. I would like an explanation from AM Wholesale as to where exactly they obtain their product.

Arrived next day. Individually packaged a little difficult to remove for a senior. Can’t comment on absorbency (above my pay grade) - Recommended by my doctor.

I've been taking these for about 7 months for iron deficiency. I take with 1000 mg of vitamin C every morning 1 hour before eating or drinking coffee. My ferritin has raised to the point I am almost symptom free. They're annoying to get out, but the high dose is worth the effort so I don't have to swallow multiple capsules.Size is easy for me to swallow. My 13 year old daughter also takes them, and she has a high gag reflex. She is able to swallow them with water as well.
