ok for younger than 2 years

I use it in my 2 year old's room, but I don't keep it in his crib with him. For our next child I will do the same thing from a much younger age, because I think it establishes a nice patterned light to fall asleep to. My two year old loves when I bring out the turtle, place it on the floor and turn out the lights!

Does turtle need to be washed after being left near baby for fortnight?

You do not need to generally wash it just for hanging out. I generally try to give it some distance from the baby, but you can hand wash it by basically spot cleaning the whole thing. I had to do this once when my whole family got the flu at the same time and everything got covered in vomit. I just used some soap and water on a wash cloth and a little oxyclean pre-treater spray, and it was great.

Does the blue turtle have the option to stay on all night or is it only on a timer?

I have the turtle, bought for my 1st child, now 8 years old, and using it now for his sister who is two months :) it is on a timer for about 45 mins also.

They are still. My son likes to move the turtle in to a different position every night so that the stars are in different spots. He loves it so much!

amazed by the cheap product quality

I just received this product and it was not even cloud b ..it was a cheap cheap duplicate....it was written TURTLE NIGHT SKY CONSTELLATION on the box....really really disappointed with amazon.in...the one star rating is actually ZERO ....I had to give it one star as the review cudnot be posted without a rating
