Known Issue, Solved By Husband.
My wife has me put these on various bags, and I am handy. Somtimes I need some extra grommet tools to make sure it doesn't break loose again, given the weights she is exceeding in her hand bags. I suggest buying a grommet kit, too. I have a hole punch set as well, for leather. Make it clean, and professional. She loves that. Money can't buy you love, but fixing your wife's handbags for free does, and it lets you get to the workshop for a couple hours without having to explain why.

The strap and buckets are very good quality, but it felt the strap was too wide for my Longchamp mini. I highly recommend it for a bigger purse.

Fits Small Le Pliage Handbags
I am leaving this review to help others-this is the fourth crossbody conversion kit I have purchased for my small Le Pliage handbags (not the mini pouches the small handbags), and it is the only one that has fit them (the blue one is vintage and has a slightly smaller handle grooves, the green one is brand new-the product works on both bags). All the others that I bought & returned were impossible to insert into the handle groove and close to ensure that they would stay in place and not ride up, which looks incredibly cheap-I think perhaps those are made for the mini pouches only. The leather is not an exact match but close enough, and I think the wider strap design looks better with these larger bags than the slim straps-strap can be adjusted to be worn crossbody or on the shoulder. I am very happy with this purchase.

The amount of compliments I get on my longchamp, with people specifically asking about the strap, is insane! The brown matches perfectly with the leather and it truly makes my bag so much better to have versatility with the strap.
