Kendall Sharps Container with Rotor Lid - 2 Gallon - Pack of 3

I'm a diabetic and use syringes to inject insulin daily, and extra sharps to check my blood sugar. My local trash people are EXPLICIT that they do NOT handle sharps disposal. But the County has a sharps disposal location, they just want them in safe disposal containers properly labeled with the bio-hazard Icon. They take them free.>.. My diabetes supply people are willing to sell me pint-sized containers, but over time I can generate a cardboard box of those. These are much bigger, cost close to the pint sized ones, and hold so much more! The County guys used to see me fairly often or look surprised when I brought in a big box of pints. Now, I go annually and bring one big, properly labeled container with all my sharps. Both of us are happier.

Since I am a diabetic I use a lot of syringes and they stack up pretty fast. As a veteran the VA sends out little tiny containers that fill up way too fast. After I was given one of the larger ones by my sister, it took me about 8 months to fill it and definitely cuts back on managing the syringes. I sure don't want to dispose of them improperly and I sure don't want them to be reused by anyone. I don't have any blood borne diseases, but still the syringes I have seen around the Seattle area, it's pretty sad. These were the most cost effective that I could find out there, so many of these suppliers have such a ripoff mentality. It is nice to find a company that provides a product without having to make it so expensive for the patient.

Good size containers in a pack of three. Very reasonable price .It will take me while to fill these but when I do, I'll be back for more. The mouth is nice and wide, and it's very easy to drop syringes in. I wouldn't recommend this if you have small kids around; little hands could quite easily get into the opening, but if not, these are a great buy.Update July 2021: Bought three more containers. Still a reasonable price and very quick shipping. All the above still applies. These are a great deal if you need sharps containers; just keep them away from kids.Update December 2021: Bought another set of containers. Price is still good, shipping is still fast, and containers are still great.

Exactly as described. They arrived quickly and are a great size, not to big or small. Handles my syringes, pen needles and pens with ease, no having to try and push things into a small hole because this one is perfectly sized and when done a flick of the finger and the rotor top slides over it making it safe with no worries of things falling out if the bucket happens to tip over. The only thing I wish it had was handles, but they aren't a necessity just would be an added bonus. Great price, great product, I will be buying from this seller again and I highly recommend.

If you have to use insulin injections, this is the container to have on hand! Our local hazardous waste company gave me a tiny one (for free) and I filled it up in only a week. Not practical to be running back and forth to the hazardous waste outfit. This Sharps container works great...and the one I ordered came with 3 containers.

Love that they are the perfect size and hold a lot of sharps. The lid is very sturdy and nothing will come out once it’s sealed.

Depending on which page of this seller's multi-page spread that you enter on, what you are purchasing is not clear. I entered on the page with the title Pack of 3, and I only visited the page titled Pack of 3. So when I selected quantity 3 in the box on that page, I thought that I was purchasing quantity 3 x 3 pack sharps containers = 9 sharps containers. But only 3 arrived. While the quality of the sharps containers is fine, the cost is not. I also purchased an 8 gallon sharps container by a different seller here for less money than what I paid for this single Pack of 3.If a customer happens to enter on the page where this merchant is selling a single sharps container, then the price and quantity may make sense if you continue to view the seller's remaining pages of the product spread where the title is changed to Pack of 3. But as it is right now, it is misleading and expensive. See the 8 gallon sharps container for less money by a different seller.

Kind of a waste of money just having to dispose of them when full, but these were the best deal I found.
