Fantastic instrument
Seriously high-quality instrument at an unbelievably good price point. Feels and sounds better than most traditional uprights. Very well constructed. Lots of advanced features (keep the manual handy to remember how to set them all!). Can act as a MIDI controller and play MIDI tracks if you are into digital work.

Keys do not work straight out of the box
First time to write a review an Amazon, but this is a terrible production. The middle G key came out not working properly out of the box. Not only the key does not sustain the tone properly like the other keys, but it also straight up doesn not work when pressed repeatedly or when another key is pressed. I was excited about this piano because of Kawai's record, and all the functionality at this price point, but you'd better stick to a Roland or a Yamaha at this price point.

the 192-note polyphony is more important than I thought
This is an excellent keyboard. Perhaps the greatest feature is the 192-note polyphony. I didn't totally understand this at first, even though I've owned keyboards for years. The microprocessor is sustaining 192 notes - of course you don't play 192 at a time, but it is remembering and sustaining the notes you played earlier. It enriches the sound like a sound board in an upright or maybe grand piano. I also found the key action to be realistic to the Baldwin Acrosonic piano that I owned for about 20 years. Be aware that the key action is slightly more "stiff" than my Yamaha and even my Roland. But it is realistic to an acoustic piano. I was initially concerned that my aging finger strength might be challenged, but I acclimated to the difference easily.

Really Good
I don’t normally write reviews but this is an exception. I have known about this digital piano a little beforehand since it was mainly received praise for how well it sounds and offers at this price point. I was skeptical at first getting it here in Amazon because of the one review which happened to be negative, but I am glad to say that this is an amazing, well built digital piano that hasn’t gave me any problems. The speakers built in the piano is surprisingly very good. There is some weighted feedback on the keys which feels more natural and attuned to more expensive pianos. It doesn’t specify in the manual but there’s a decent app called PianoRemote by Kawai that allows to you change through piano sounds, record sounds, change the tuning, adjust the metronome easier. If you are serious into learning how to play the piano or want a good digital piano at this price point looking, I strongly recommend this.

Great piano under $500
It is a great portable piano for $479. Everything is great except the piano key action. I am not a beginner, so for most of the first timers might be a great choice. I graded its various parameters below: Feel 4 Sound quality 5 Value for Money 5 Functionality 4 Keyboard quality 4 Size 5

Impressive piano for the price
Unpacked and gave it a try today. Everything works that I tested. Notably the box it came in is almost as heavy as the keyboard! I was concerned the long haul across country by Amazon would have beat it up, and the box did show some damage, but the keyboard inside was protected well by a lot of cardboard. The keys are a very light matte texture, which I desired. The action is a little lighter than say Roland, but that is good now that I am older. I don't know how long this will last, but for now I believe the ES60 is the best deal for low-cost weighted key digital pianos.

One key was sticky (slow return) out of the box. Returned it and got the same model from a nearby store.
