Will this work to coat the non-working rubber buttons on a remote control

Yes, this worked great. First, clean the circuit board where the contacts are using Isopropyl alcohol. I also used Iso to clean off the rubber dot, which is usually a conductive carbon substance. Then apply the *carbon* version of this product to the black dot. Cover the whole surface and let it dry completely before re-assembling.

Can this be used to repair a broken strip in a car rear defogger?

I just tested a 1/2" long x1/8" wide strip on a piece of pyrex glass and got 0 resistance for that length. It seems to conduct well for a short distance and stuck to the glass very well. I hope this helps.

Does it work for making a PCB?

In my opinion, it's far from the ideal for making your own PCB. I can see it being used for prototyping of low voltage/low current circuits.This particular compound is based on nickel, which is not a as conductive as copper.This pen would work fine for the small repairs like cuts or tears in the existing PCB traces. BTW, there's a more conductive version of this pen which is based on silver.Aside from conductivity issue, there's an issue of securing parts to PCB. I,also, doubt you can solder to the trace drawn with this pen.

Is this pen good for making a jumper on a circuit board?

Yes, it's great for that but even the carbon conductive (lowest quality) pen would work for that

Works but ?

Does work but as others have said, it's a white to administer due to stupid ball heading tip. Only works on a flat surface you won't get it on soldiering joints for fixing circuit boards only

Very lumpy does not flow well at all

Bought this to repair a trace on a flexible keyboard membrane. It does not flow from the nib of the pen. Not good at all. When some comes out it is all lumpy as iff dried out in pen. Would not waste money again on this. I was surprised as made in Canada, so expecting better product than usual made in china rubbish.

Pen doesn't work

Bought this 5 month ago and finally went to use it and nothing comes out. I've sqeezed with the nib pushed against a suface as hard as I can. It was the first time I tried it. Very disappointed as its money wasted. The shelf life should easily be a year from point of sale.

Not conductive, but can make a lovely resistor with it

expected this to be conductive like the description said. But it's not. It has resistance. So not suitable for what I needed, repairing broken circuit traces. This is similar to the carbon in a solution products you can buy at car shops. Not recommended. But it does dry quick.
