There are about 3,000 1.0mm steel beads and there is one brass bead in there to demonstrate the randomness of one outcome. Yes, they will be attracted to a magnet.

Is this a real product? The "in stock" date has been moved back at least five times that I have seen. Always seems to be in stock two weeks from now.

Can you move the funnel on the top to demonstrate tampering with a system?

The funnel and board are molded out of one piece of plastic. You cannot modify the funnel without substantial cutting and reconstruction. I suggest you make your own version if you want to demonstrate a different type of probability model.

What is the total height of the product? I only see the package height listed.

It's about 8 inches. There's a pic there where the box is right next to the actual Galton board; there's something like an inch at the bottom and the top (even less than that) between the top and bottom of the box and the product as it's fitted inside.
