Awesome knife for the price
I have owned many CJRB knives, they have all been great budget knives. When the Pyrite-Light came out I already owned several knives with similar designs. AR-RPM9 is decent budget steel, but my favorite is D2. This knife has FRN scales, I didn't think I would like the cheap feel of FRN. Fast forward about a year. I contemplated buying this knife because it is CJRB and such a great price, I talked myself out of buying it several times. It does come in higher grade materials; I almost bought the S90v version for $80. Recently I decided to buy the large version of this knife because I like bigger knives. I AM NOT DISSAPOINTED and I would highly recommend this knife to anyone who wants to pay less for more. This knife feels like a Benchmade, probably because of the FRN scales. This knife is smooth, tight lock up, has a lanyard hole, no button stick and AR-RPM9 (while solidly in the budget category) is very easy to sharpen and does get razor sharp. This is just a fantastic lightweight great quality knife for the money. Buy it, if you have realistic expectations of this category of knives, you will not be disappointed. PS. I could do without the safety lock. I can see deploying the knife and pressing that button instead of the button lock to release the blade. Doesn't bother me at all, just could do without it :) PPS. I forgot to say that is has a good pocket clip, very serviceable. Excellent thumb studs. Good jimping on blade and a reversable pocket clip.

Best bang for your buck
Not really a review writer but Iโll give it a shot. Spent 3 days looking for what i wanted and this was perfect. Right in my price range but still a great knife. Feels a lot like Iโd imagine a benchmade would feel like. Thatโs exactly what i was looking for. Maybe a tad bit heavier than that but not noticeable at all in your pocket. Very thin and the perfect size for my hand. Had to pick this one over their slightly smaller model. Flips right open and shut while pressing the silver button. The black button locks it both open or closed. Could do without this button but it doesnโt really get in my way at all so who cares, itโs an added feature so Iโm cool with it. The white color is totally the way to go. The black blade doesnโt seem to scratch or wear so far but weโll see. Came pretty sharp, i could cut a piece of paper easily but the โstanding paper testโ didnโt work. Iโd assume it would work if i sharpened it. Perfect knife for carrying without spending a couple hundred bucks so Iโm PUMPED. Good stuff!!

Pyrite
CJRB sure did get this one right. I have both the large and small Pyrite light. The action is amazing for such a cheap knife. It's better than my benchmade Bugout. I haven't opened it to see if it's running on washers or ball bearings. The thumb stud is in the right spot to make sure it opens with a quick push. I have no ideal about this ar-rpm 9, but from previous experiences it sharpens real easy. I do wish that the handles were a little wider, I have large hands and I can't grip it real well. Knife is great for fidgeting. Overall great banger for the bucks

What else could you ask for?
The price is great and I got it on discount. Great knife, the handle construction, the feel, ease to open, ease to close, sharp, sturdy, this is a working man's knife. I like the look, nothing fancy, not overdone. This is my first CJRB and I will definitely be getting more. I already ordered the larger version.

Totally worth it
Excellent for the price I paid. Super sharp out of the box and scales are light and strong. The plunge lock gets stuck and it has a separate lock that will lock the blade open or closed and Iโve had it engage unintentionally but itโs a minor inconvenience. If the plunge lock works itself out I might up this to 5 stars for the price

Punches above its price
Came sharp out of the box. Even bevel on both sides. No blade play when open, centered when closed. Slices very well. Time will tell on how well it holds up. I wasn't sure if I'd like the secondary lock, but after using it for a while I like it. The extra security of secondary lock is handy. I didn't find it got in the way at all. For how I carry, the secondary lock is added security the blade doesn't open unless I want it to open. Cheap enough to not worry about abusing it or losing it. Perfect EDC for my urban needs and light enough to take with me on hikes. Chokes up relatively well, but it would be better with more gimping on the blade. Decent balance but a little handle heavy. It could be fixed with a lighter pocket clip but not worth the cost IMO. Handle isn't the grippiest, but not terrible for plastic. Very good value for $40.

Excellent knife
Love my knife. The size, the sharpness, easy to open and very good feeling. The lock mechanism is super secure and it can be in my pocket with lot of space left.

Nice knife
Great knife. Very sharp edge. Feels great in hand and easy to get in and out of my pocket. The pocket clip is stiff enough to hold, but not so stuff that it is difficult to slide into your pocket.
