Poured it on
This worked perfectly on a long time Bermuda grass nuisance. Because it was on the edges of the bed I mixed the solution and poured into a small watering can and poured it on the grass rather than spraying it on. It โfedโ the grass which died down into the roots and a week later the dead grass with roots pulled up easily. Best used with surfactant.

Great herbicide for taking out weed grasses
This product is excellent at killing weed grasses, especially bermuda. Takes a couple weeks but works great.

Effective but requires extensive safety measures
This works as advertised but it is not user friendly because the main ingredient is a possible carcinogen. Per the instructions, you have to be covered from shoulders to feet. you don't have to wear protective eye gear, but you do need rubber gloves of some kind. I wouldn't use this on a lawn where children play. That said, it did indeed kill the bermuda grass that had invaded my tall fescue lawn, which was turning very destructive. it is basically your only option. The instructions state that you must wear long pants, shoes and socks, and a long sleeved shirt. and that those be washed when done. I find all this to be a pain. I saw a guy on YouTube using this while wearing shorts and a t-shirt, however. You can't use this stuff during windy conditions. But hey, it works, and as far as I can tell, it's your only option if you want to save your tall fescue lawn. CA in 1988 listed as a probably carcinogen but more recent data suggests it is not. I found some conflicting data on this. Regardless, you have to be very careful with this stuff.

Not selective in daylilies.
Is not selective when applied to daylilies for crabgrass--if anything, my results are more harmful to the daylily foliage than the crabgrass after 1 week. It may be effective on other, easy to kill annual grasses, not a cheap way to learn a lesson--at least I sprayed only three plants. Glyphosate is more effective, and should be used the same way as this product. (I used .5 oz, surfactant with 2 gals.)

Very powerful stuff, does exactly what I wanted (selective grass killing)
Firstly it wasn't clear when I purchased, you should have a permit to use this in the State of California. That aside, the product did an amazing job at killing the bermuda grass that had developed overground roots and was essentially a weed on my lawn. It managed to keep the rest of the preferred grass in place and even reseeding with Marathon II it was unaffected. I'm in zone 9b. I carefully managed the timing of application in conjunction with overseeing of Marathon and application of The Andersons 12-8-12 fertilizer. You do need something to apply the product with. It is so strong you cannot simply pour it out. I got away with using a hose-end sprayer but there are safer ways to do it. All-in-all, very pleased with the end result. The dead bermuda could simply be picked off the surface of the lawn and after 5 or 6 weeks so far hasn't returned. Use Copilot or Gemini to help with any scheduling if you are applying more than one product as I was. Worked a charm!

Yes yes yes
This is the only stuff that actually killed our tough crabgrass. I tried 3 other products before this and I'm so thankful I got this. I let the grass stay longish and then let the product sit for a week. It was well worth the wait!
