Levi's Women's 724 High Rise Straight Jeans

Ok so I have a ton of Levi’s and typically only buy the rigid 100% cotton jeans. Be aware that these are the Levi’s “outlet” line of jeans with the paper label, and not your typical “premium” Levis with leather label that you will find in the normal Levi’s store. They’re priced accordingly. I thought I’d give these a try for the lower price. Usually jeans with stretch don’t suit me but these are nice and thick enough fabric that they still give a structured snatched look in the waist and hips which I love. Normally I need a long inseam (I’m around 5’8” for reference) but 28L was sold out. I saw there was an option for “28” or “28 Regular” so I ordered the “28.” Luckily for me, size 28x32 arrived and they’re perfect. Was probably an error in my favor. They seem to run a bit longer than most 32” inseam Levi’s and give a nice slightly stacked look at the ankle or could be worn with wedge sandals. TBH I may even buy another color in a 30” length just for another option that hits at my ankle. These are really nice slim jeans with a more sleek look than most jeans in stores lately. True to size. Did not stretch out too much with wear so far. Have not yet washed.

I didn’t get what I ordered but I’m keeping them anyway. I ordered 29 short which is supposed to have 28 inch inseam. I got 29w 30L so they’re a bit longer than I’d like but not so long I’ll have to hem them. Perfect fit. I’m 5’4” weigh 126lbs. I don’t have much of a backside. These fit perfectly and in the waist and hips - no baggie butt! The 30L hits the bottom of my heel but doesn’t drag. I’d prefer they stop at the ankle but they’re such a good fit I’m not going to return them.

Giving it 4 stars because I didn't see anywhere to indicate the LENGTH I require, and these are too long! I can't decide to go for the frayed hem look and cut them with scissors or take them to a seamstress to get them hemmed, which seems a lot of trouble for a pair of jeans.

As some other reviewers have noted, if you order a Short you may receive a Regular length. I ordered these in 32 Short twice but did not receive Short either time. The last photo in the product info says "Available in 28", 30", 32" lengths," and the product info states "Regular is 30." Amazon's "Rufus" said this appears to be a fulfillment error, so I did a return and placed a second order but again did not receive a Short. Other than the too-long length I like the jeans. They are comfortable with some stretch, and Way Way Back is a nice medium blue denim color. I like the high rise. They seem true to size other than the length. Amazon should not offer a size 32 Short if they have nothing but Regulars to ship. That's the reason for deducting two stars.

These jeans are perfect for my postpartum body! I went through so many styles and sizes to figure out what worked for me, and these are perfect! I used to only wear the ribcage jeans pre-baby but now they just accentuate my mom pooch :/ These fit perfectly and hide my mom pooch! I definitely recommend! I am currently 155lbs/5’6” and the 29 regular fit perfectly!

The sizing on Amazon does not match the sizing on the jeans I ordered from the Levi's website. These sizes are smaller and the fit feels different. I ordered a pair of what I thought was my size and couldn't even get them over my hips. I sent them back thinking I'd made a mistake. I then ordered straight from the Levi's website and the jeans fit like normal. I ordered from Amazon again, thinking it had been my mistake the first time, only to encounter the same issue. If ordering from Amazon, I suggest sizing up. That doesn't account for the difference in overall fit, though. These gap in the back and have no give in the hips. The tags on the back are both paper as opposed to the thicker, leather-like brand tag that you find on some of the higher end Levi's. I'm not sure what accounts for the discrepancy in quality difference in these jeans vs. jeans ordered straight from Levi's.

I ordered a 31 short in the color Way Way Back. When I opened the paper Amazon bag, I got a nice, fresh smell. Something you don’t get from brand new denim in a paper bag. So I tried them on, they were WAY too small which was odd because that’s my size in Levi’s. Then I smelled the jeans. They had been washed (in Tide) and dried, then Amazon just put the tags back on. No wonder they were so tight. First time for everything.
