If MAONO ever upgrades the build materials on this unit, it would be nearly unstoppable. That said, the performance more than makes up for it. That’s a huge win for dynamic microphones. I did not need an external preamp—gain levels are strong, clean, and consistent. Yes, I wish it had a metal body—but that’s my only gripe in an otherwise extremely capable system. After using this, I’m very interested in exploring more MAONO products to see if they can replace additional pieces of my current gear. Their lineup looks promising, and this interface has definitely earned my respect. Highly recommended for podcasters, streamers, and content creators—especially those who need flexibility, portability, and professional features in one compact unit. I will start this by saying my product worked great for a few months, and though I started noticing a buzzing sound from the audio jack when I had my headphones plugged into the device. Even the system sounds had this. It sounded kinda like a blown speaker if that makes sense. Everything else on the Maono still worked. I reached out to customer support and chatted with Marina and we did some trouble shooting trying to see if it was something I had missed, she was very very nice and very professional. We ended up on the conclusion that the unit needed to be replaced. She set it up and has shipped me a new one. I will say I wasn’t hoping for a free replacement I was hoping we could fix mine, but it wasn’t in the cards so she sent me a new unit. In the world we live in having interactions like this make life just pleasant. Things go wrong sometimes. It’s life. These guys and Marina specifically are awesome. If you have an issue, reach out, be respectful and they will return it 100 fold. In the future I will always buy from them because of this. 100/10

I purchased this unit for my church, but unfortunately I was unable to use it due to a constant buzzing noise and difficulty connecting it to our mixer for live streaming. I attempted to contact the seller several times for assistance, but received no response. I also tried to return the item; however, by the time I was able to troubleshoot the issues, the return window had already closed. As a result, the product has been unusable for our ministry needs.

I have a podcast and wanted to take my sound to a different level, so I did my research on different interfaces. It was between this one and the Rode caster and I decided to go with this one due to better reviews for the price point. I was not disappointed, it’s very easy to use and very high-quality. The instruction manual is very descriptive and easy to read. You can also go online to the website for more in-depth instructions and videos. The interface comes with 8 sound-pads that ARE NOT preloaded, however you can add your sounds to them. It took me a while to figure it out but the instruction manual says you have to record your sound to the sound pads. I didn’t want to record sounds due to already having pre-recorded sounds. On the website I watched a video and learned that you can also upload any pre-recorded sounds you have either through “Bluetooth” or by connecting your device to the “Aux” cord (which is included). Love it! The interface has Bluetooth capability so you can play sounds through any device which you’re recording for easy playback. There’s gain knobs for each mic, 48v power buttons for each mic, noise cancellation, reverb, music and pad volume. This machine is a BEAST! I have it paired with the Maono PD200 XLR mic and the sound quality is GREAT! BUY THIS! You’ll be highly satisfied! Take your time and learn how to work it. Read the manual and go on the Maono site. This interface is LEGIT!!

Outstanding mixer! This seriously upped my podcast skills by allowing me to refine my voice which I've always hated before hearing it through this!! This was super easy to connect and put together.. I bought the entire Maono setup and it was really easy to figure out for a first timer like myself! I also purchased the monitoring headphones, a cheap Amazon XLR cable, a Maono Dynamic XLR/USB micand the adjustable boom.. amazing sound quality, connects to Bluetooth easily and is lightweight. This is an awesome value for the price, I paid about $250 for everything and I'm able to record this review and podcasts straight to my cellphone for editing & posting! I'm absolutely in love with this wetu, and with the way my voice sounds now! This mixer is a great way to start, just buy the remaining pieces to build your ideal kit!

The MaonoCaster E2 Gen2 isn't terrible, and for a beginner just getting into streaming or podcasting, it does a lot right. But the more I used it, the more I ran into small annoyances that kept it from being great. What I didn't like: · Headphone monitoring is not good. Getting a clear, accurate idea of your own voice or the overall mix in your ears was a struggle. For live work, that's a real problem. · Battery life was disappointing. I got maybe 5 hours out of a full charge. Fine for a quick session, but plan on staying plugged in for anything longer. · Echoes are way too easy to create. I'm not sure if it's a mic routing or monitoring bleed thing, but it doesn't take much to end up with an echo in the mix. You have to be very careful with levels and placement, or it gets sloppy fast. What I liked: · Decent effects and voice transpose. The onboard effects are actually usable, not just throwaway presets. Being able to transpose your voice is a fun creative addition, and it works surprisingly well. · Charges your phone sometimes while in use. This isn't something I see advertised heavily, but more than once I noticed my phone wasn't draining during a stream, and honestly that's a genuinely useful perk I wish more interfaces had. Build and feel: The layout is simple, physical controls are straightforward, and you don't need a manual to get started. It's sized right for a desk and doesn't feel cheap. Bottom line: It's a decent beginner streaming interface with some fun creative features. The effects and transpose are cool, and the occasional phone charging is a nice surprise. But the poor monitoring, short battery, and echo sensitivity mean you'll probably outgrow it sooner than you'd like. Three stars — not bad, not great, with a few standout tricks.

Pretty around mixer I don’t really like how if you have it plug in to a pc it doesn’t charge but other then that it’s good
