Q: I have something like this but it stands completely vertical so the paper on display flops forward. Does that happen with this item?

There's a slight angle so I don't think a couple pieces of paper will cause it to flop forward. Anything heavier (booklets, brochures, magazines) might. I use it to display cruise brochures and can only put on in each slot, for this reason.

Q: I need to use this outside. Would wind knock it over?

This is primarily for indoor use, you may use it outside if there is a slight breeze, but the wind will knock it down if it is anything stronger then that.

Q: What are the exact dimensions of the entire mesh piece- length and width? I don't understand how it can have 3 dimensions.

It’s not tridimensional. It was returned the same day I received it because it can’t hold canvas sheets paintings. It’s probably good for thin magazines or pamphlets.
