desertcart.com: Veil Volume 1: Temperature of Orange: 9781772943610: Kotteri, Allen, Jocelyne, Woodrow-butcher, Andrew: Books Review: Part fashion magazine, part manga, all romance! - I bought this because of the memes and came in with 0 expectation. What I ended up reading is a charming comic about two people falling in love at the right place at the right time. It's all so wholesome and sweet, and I as I read through it, it got me thinking, "Man! I wish was this was my life!". The manga is told in an episodic fashion, with each chapter showing off the snippets of their daily lives. Equal parts poignant, cheeky, mundane, and silly, each entry just oozes charm. The use of color and character sketches to break up each chapter are so frivolous. The obligatory use of French? Pretentious! But it all screams: "HEY! This isn't just a manga. It's ART!" And again, it's those little things that lifts it up from being just another manga into something a bit more. I like to joke that Veil is actually a magazine spread that happens to have dialogue ;) Its characters are simply written but likeable, with enough subtlety and depth to make them interesting. The paper quality is really good and as is the printing. The glossy finish adds a touch of luxury to it. Almost makes me feel bad turning the page at times haha My only real complaint is that the dialogue boxes can be hard to follow. The tail of the text blurbs is smaller than usual, and the layout in certain scenes are placed awkwardly. They're few and far between thankfully! If you're into manga, get this! If not, you know what, get it anyway! It's a fun simple read with a great art style. Hopefully more of these get localized because the remaining four in publication are only in Japanese and French. Truly the slowest of slow burns... Review: Incredibly Faithful to the Artists Vision - Amazing! Gorgeous glossy pages, magnificent inserts and beautifully rendered it’s everything I’ve been hoping for! Waited over two years for Udon Entertainment to release these and it was worth it!

IT FINALLY CAME!!
So cute!! I’ve been waiting for this to get translated, and I’m glad it finally came out. The story is jumpy, and more of just cute scenes, but I love it, and the art style is very beautiful :) (It is not a traditional chronological story, but if you enjoy reading little segments, it’s perfect)

Got this pre-ordered and arrived early!! Such a pleasant surprise. Loveeee these little stories of these two characters and the art is just amazing. ✨ Read so much of it online and glad I can get a physical copy! Will definitely be getting the second volume when I can. ☺️

Product arrived in perfect condition
I’ve already read the manga in its entirety so this review is more about the actual product, My book came perfectly fine, it was delayed a couple of times but it was preordered so I wasn’t too caught up on it. My only concern is the bubble wrap for the book… I’ve noticed Amazon tends to put soft covered books in bubble wrap and the hard covers in boxes which I think is ultimately backwards but I digress!! I also saw another review that said they were confused about the storyline a bit because they jumped from scence to scence and it made me laugh a bit because that’s the point of the book we’re just reading random moments of their life although not ideal for some people I guess

I waited so long for the English translation to be available again, and the moment it was back I bought it immediately. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever purchased anything this fast. This is easily one of my favourite manga series. The storyline is beautiful, the art style is stunning, and the level of detail in every panel is incredible. It’s the kind of series where you can take your time looking through each page and still notice new details. I also really love how the first two volumes have matching covers it makes them look so nice together on the shelf. If you enjoy visually beautiful manga with a unique atmosphere, this series is definitely worth picking up.

It's a very unique Manga experience. The story follows this blind rich girl and a young police man. After reading "scene 1" (like chapters, but much shorter) I was a bit lost going into scene 2. I realized it isnt a continuous story that you would expect from traditional manga, but more small bite size peaks into their blossoming relationship. In between each scene was at least 2 full page art pieces if not more. It was a beautiful, full colored drawn manga that is definitely worth reading. 😄

Perfeito.
