A full color manga, featuring charming short vintage chapters. For anyone who loves witty will they/won't they romantic comedies. Like a classic film, he and she encountered each other by chance. He was an on-duty police officer in the city. She was a runaway heiress. When he learned that she is looking for work, he decided to welcome her as the police station's telephone operator... This was the beginning of the everyday lives of he and she, and the delicate distance between them. Enjoy witty dialogue and bold illustrations, in this in full-color manga collection by Kotteri! Review: my fave romance manga now🥹 - my cover was a little damaged in the corners because it wasnt wrapped when it was in my package, but i didnt really mind. anyway i found out about this manga through my instagram feed and gave into buying it and oh my gosh im obsessed. temperature of orange was genuinely such a beautiful read! i love how this series makes normal every day interactions seem so romantic! KEEP IN MIND that this manga series does not follow a traditional plot or story. despite not following that, i still loved and enjoyed seeing Aleksander and Emma’s relationship. ive seen an awful lot of people saying that they have a situationship or that they’re just friends—but they’re all wrong!! a little talk on their relationship that nobody asked about: Emma clearly expresses that she felt trapped, deeply unhappy, and stifled with her old life, which makes 100% sense for her to not want another set of rules to follow or a heavy label for their relationship. their love for each other is kept behind a veil—its unspoken, but its entirely real. it protects their whole bond from the expectations of the outside world.. Emma and Aleksander know exactly how much they love and mean to each other—they both know they’re completely devoted to one another. thats why their relationship has no need for a label like a boyfriend or girlfriend. and thats also why i find Veil so unique and beautifully written! Kotteri did an amazing job. Review: The art is amazing! - Great book!

Gorgeous cover and artwork
I saw these on Instagram a few years ago and wanted them so badly but they didn't have it in English until now. I bought all six volumes. The pages are thick and colored (unlike traditional paperback manga). I lowkey wish it came as a hardcover book but the paperback still feels high quality.

Part fashion magazine, part manga, all romance!
I bought this because of the memes and came in with 0 expectation. What I ended up reading is a charming comic about two people falling in love at the right place at the right time. It's all so wholesome and sweet, and I as I read through it, it got me thinking, "Man! I wish was this was my life!". The manga is told in an episodic fashion, with each chapter showing off the snippets of their daily lives. Equal parts poignant, cheeky, mundane, and silly, each entry just oozes charm. The use of color and character sketches to break up each chapter are so frivolous. The obligatory use of French? Pretentious! But it all screams: "HEY! This isn't just a manga. It's ART!" And again, it's those little things that lifts it up from being just another manga into something a bit more. I like to joke that Veil is actually a magazine spread that happens to have dialogue ;) Its characters are simply written but likeable, with enough subtlety and depth to make them interesting. The paper quality is really good and as is the printing. The glossy finish adds a touch of luxury to it. Almost makes me feel bad turning the page at times haha My only real complaint is that the dialogue boxes can be hard to follow. The tail of the text blurbs is smaller than usual, and the layout in certain scenes are placed awkwardly. They're few and far between thankfully! If you're into manga, get this! If not, you know what, get it anyway! It's a fun simple read with a great art style. Hopefully more of these get localized because the remaining four in publication are only in Japanese and French. Truly the slowest of slow burns...

I love this series and hoping for future books of the next chapters
I love the manga but the shipping of the book was left unprotected in the box with no wrappings. no damage to the manga luckily.

Temperature of Orange
This was very hard to get in. We had to end up canceling the first one and reordering. As far as the actual product, my granddaughter loved it!

Unique Manga Experience
It's a very unique Manga experience. The story follows this blind rich girl and a young police man. After reading "scene 1" (like chapters, but much shorter) I was a bit lost going into scene 2. I realized it isnt a continuous story that you would expect from traditional manga, but more small bite size peaks into their blossoming relationship. In between each scene was at least 2 full page art pieces if not more. It was a beautiful, full colored drawn manga that is definitely worth reading. 😄

Recomendo a compra
Perfeito. Veil é uma obra de arte em si, mas o impresso está maravilhoso. Veio em perfeitas condições (mesmo pelo jeito desleixado que a amazon envia) e é uma obra primia impressa. Vale o valor pelo material. Unico erro é ser capa comum.
