Universal Suspension Strut Spreader Tool - Heavy Duty Dual-End Strut Removal & Lower Ball Joint Separator, Eliminates Hammering Damage on VW Audi BMW Ford

This little guy helped so much with changing out my knuckle blade n my 2015 transit connect (same as the ford focus). I could not get my lower ball joint out of the knuckle. I used a 3+ foot pry par and other tools to try to seperate the knuckle and nothing. Used this with a tiny rachet wrench. Came out like nothing. I also used this to get the knuckle off the strut. I don’t know how I would have gotten the new knuckle on the strut without this thing (I guess a lot of hammering and yelling would eventually work). Would recommend. Great tool that makes the job so much easier. This is way smaller than I expected but works super well. Def one of those tools that cuts time / frustration.

Lifesaver. Used on my 2014 mini cooper countryman s all 4. Interesting enough, advance, AutoZone and O'Reilly's had to Google this tool, they never heard of it.

Works perfectly! Highly advise only use a 10mm wrench to tighten down the push bolt.

The Spreader worked perfectly on the first side, but while spreading the knuckle to accomodate the lower ball joint, the guide pins on the spreader bent and I couldn't use them on the other ball joint. The pins weren't strong enough for the second round.
