This thing is a game changer for metal detecting. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and super accurate when zeroing in on stuff. The sensitivity’s on point, saves me from digging around like crazy. Feels tough too, not some cheap plastic that’s gonna break. Using it is a no-brainer, just click it on and go. Battery holds up well, so I’m not swapping it out all the time. Already pulled a couple coins I would’ve totally missed without it, so yeah, it’s worth it.

Pretty neat inexpensive hand held metal detector. I liked it, but wanted to save my back so I made a 3d printed holster for it that a regular broom handle or paint stick will screw into. I put it on MakerWorld. Search for "Pancky Handheld Metal Detector BroomHandle Adapter". It's free.

Haven't really tried it 100%. Works good on metal, but weak on detecting gold. The tip has to literally be touching the gold to sound and alert and sometimes its silent.

Bought this to find a tungsten wedding band with a diamond lost in high grass. The wedding band would cost $500 to replace besides the sentimental values. For the price, this metal detector seemed like a good deal. I had searched for the band for over an hour without success. My grandson lost a small metal car in the mondo grass also that could not be found. There was some question whether metal detectors would even detect tungsten. In about 10 minutes I found both! I can say with certainty that this device will pick up tungsten. Very happy with my purchase. Who knows, I may get into the metal detecting hobby.

I have not used this pin pointer outside yet. I used it on items in the house, and I liked how it was sensitive to different objects. The weight of it and the circumference of it fit my hand very well. It's loud enough to hear. There are rubber o rings at the screw top that if tightened will make it waterproof. I have to familiarize myself with the button control but it shuts off after ten minutes if it's idle. For what I paid for it, and for what it does, I think I got a good deal.

First of all, let me say this was an emergency purchase. I had an upcoming vacation to the Bahamas and my MI-4 pointer was in for warranty service. I found it funny this was an exact copy visually, however this is where the differences stop.I use a ML manticore that is usually set at 19-22. Upon turning this thing on, my detector went crazy with feedback. I had to separate the 2 at least 10ft apart.With my detector powered off, I was able to use this pinpointer. It's accuracy and detection were laughable though. My buddy's Garret Carrot walked circles around this thing.Also, to say this is waterproof is risky. That would depend on the battery cap o-ring being squished too tight. Put the cap on too hard and the o-ring deforms and squishes to the side, defeating the point.I ended up leaving it in my bag after the second day of the trip. The pinpointer on my Manticore worked loads better than this thing, it was just quirky to use.

They have provided me with multiple solutions so solve the issues with my unit. Thank you.Initial Review: Waste of money - this detector is very low quality, inaccurate, and at best rain proof, not waterproof.I used on a few occasions while beach detecting, it would present all kinds of mulfunction, not turn on or not turn off, go off without any metal around, etc, the only way to make it work after that was to open amd remove the battery for 5 seconds. Finally today while detecting on shallow water it turned on and went off by itself, when I checked it was full of water. Not a tool you can trust!
