My first monitor probably the only one I will ever get, has everything I need

This thing is worth every penny! I’ll save thousands of dollars every year hitting balls at home.

Disappointed is an understatement. 5000 dollars for something that doesn’t accurately track your distance. Garmin should be ashamed of themselves for this product and fix this issue immediately. If you are considering buying this don't. Save the money or if you want too just gamble it away because it would be better then buying the Approach R50.

Hard to connect and keep it.

Easy to set up, thoroughly enjoy

Awesome launch monitor. Works great. Have tested it against GC3, GCQuad, and Trackman. Super close. There is way more varability in your swing than there is difference between any of these launch monitors. Love the screen and instant video of impact. Downside relative to GC offerings. Bigger and battery doesn't last as long. Upside is awesome screen, premium carry case and access to play virtually most golf courses including local ones with a ~$100 subscription to Garmin (i.e. not needed) which also gives you green slopes if you have their compatabile watch while playing. If on the driving range...just make sure it knows where you are (i.e. easy to do) and it will adjust for elevation and temp to give you accurate carry. Watching ball flight at the range and on the screen has given me confidence that this thing works. Occasional mis-read but nothing more than GC3 or GCQuad does. For the people that say...well its not as accurate as the GC3 or GCQuad...really? I don't think so and if there is an accuracy difference...sorry...your not that good. Maybe...and that is a big mabye for someone on the PGA Tour and even then I would really question it. I think for those guys they like the all day battery and smaller size of the GCQuad. For me...I am not out there that long. Not even close to using all of what the R50 can do as is in terms of battery. Highly recommend. My 2 cents anyway. Hope it helps people.

This launch monitor did not work as advertised. It would not detect shots on the driving range and was intermittent in my garage. Also, I had to pay $121 to return this device to Garmin. This was not cool and the technical support was not very useful.
