Easy to install. As yet it is too early to know whether heavy rain flow along gutter will be impeded, and whether tree flowers in Spring, and Autumn leaves will be effectively prevented from penetrating the gutters.At the price, it is worth the experiment, as the bi-annual gutter clearing exercise is a back breaking chore needing two men to manhandle very heavy extension ladders to reach the top of a second floor of a Victorian farmhouse.

Easy to install - remains to be seen if it makes a difference to the leaves. The birds certainly don't like it and one gutter which used to have magpies on it ( to the point where they broke a bracket) now seems not so comfortable for them.

This leaf filter has worked so far this winter. It was however installed when much of the debris from trees at the rear of our house had already fallen. A better test will be next winter, however so far so good.

Our house is surrounded by trees and being in the Lake District we get our far share of rain! I would normally have to be up the ladder once or twice a week to clear leafs.Since installing the Hedgehog Gutter Brushes overflowing gutters through blocked out lets and gutters full of leafs appear to be a thing of the past, so, so far so good.They were very easy to install and with the gutters we have you don't need the clips so I recommend fit the brush and then if your gutters need clips order them after as they only took 24hrs to arrive.The one concern I have is will the leaves that rest on or in-between the bristles of the brush blow away, see attached images.I suspect that once or twice a year I am still going to have to get up the ladder and remove the brush to clear it by giving it a good shake.All in all a good buy

Exactly as described. Easy to fit and looks good. Inspires confidence but only time will tell if it does the job long term.

We live near very tall beech trees so the supply of leaves, husks and other debris is very plentiful, resulting in the need for frequent gutter clearing.Tried using hedgehog in one run of gutter and found that it completely stopped downspout blockages and substantially reduced my maintenance work so I fitted it in all gutters round house. It will probably need one cleaning per annum.Hedgehog is well thought out with nylon bristles and stainless steel wire, so should last well.Have highly recommended it to friends in similar circumstances.

Really impressed with these. We have numerous large trees surrounding the house and our gutters were needing cleaning every few months - a horrid job at best. The hedgehog gaurds are easy to cut and fit and do exactly what they say they will. My gulleys still need clearing once in a while and I'll probably take the hedgehogs all out once a year for a shake out, but my gutters are no longer clogged. I'm going to buy more to do the garage next.
