I was particularly drawn to the valve's ability to detect leaks and automatically shut off the water supply. The integrated water pressure sensor is sensitive enough to catch even minor issues, and I can check for leaks anytime, anywhere using the app. The system also measures water temperature and pressure, providing a comprehensive overview of my water usage. I appreciate the potential to integrate this valve with a Tuya WiFi water leak detector to create automated scenes, like automatically closing the valve when a leak is detected. While I haven't experienced any issues yet, the peace of mind knowing I have a system in place to prevent water damage is invaluable. The valve's ability to track daily, monthly, and current water usage statistics also helps me to be more mindful of my consumption and reduce waste. The only difference I can find from the other version that costs less than half what this one does is the addition of temperature and pressure monitoring. Granted, those are useful to try and correlate how much extra it costs to heat water compared with the base temperature of your water supply, but I'm not sure how useful those two additional features will end up being. Overall, I think this is a great device that was easy to set up and use, but the price is too high for the amount of functionality it provides being only slightly more than the other model.
