Descent Second Edition: Crusade of the Forgotten

Pretty much the same as I have written for all the others I have purchased. These packs are a bit overpriced for what they offer. Hero miniatures with only character sheets, but no class cards, the monsters are great for the overlord player, and one single quest.It would have been more worth the money if they had included classes that go with the heroes or at the very least, starting gear cards for the heroes. I realize that throughout the game the heroes end up with gear that isn't represented by the miniature, but I like for it to start off with it at least and have the option to have it.I do recommend getting it regardless. Unless you are someone who gets overwhelmed from having too many options. In which case I recommend just sticking with the base game and the box expansions.

Just don't look at the medusae in the eyes! Overall not disappointed by the quality of the monsters or the heroes. I regularly paint miniatures for my games and these miniatures look great painted (plenty of detail with only minor mold lines and flashing). Pretty typical of today's Chinese plastics. The heroes had a good expansive element to the game and the monsters provide some variety to your adventures.

The sculps in general are cool, albeit some bending and Tahlia lacking a nose/mouth. Detail on the heroes I'd say its sharper than in Nerekhall and in Oath of the Outcast.Pros:- Good, colorful cast all around.- Andira Runehand and Astarra are classics.- Golems and Sorcerers are both considered high tier monsters.Cons:- Not much besides what I mentioned of the miniatures.

great expansion pack. keep in mind, if you have 1st edition, you dont' need to order these... just get the conversion kit... if you dont' have 1st edition then these are a GREAT way to get all the first edition models and adventures for your 2nd edition kit.

FFG are false advertising a different game as Descent 2nd edition. This is a sub par game.
