I bought it as a gift my Son and Daughters in Law, they are so pleased with it, so as a consequence I purchased another for my other Son and Daughter in Law who are equally as pleased with it, and they would both recommend it.

Does not create a proper vacuum. Loads of air still in bag. On second attempt the lid lock mechanism popped open and now will not lock. It broke! Very flimsy useless product. Do NOT buy

I had a similar unit from one of the popular discount stores. While sealing worked fine, the suction was so weak that i ended up just squeezing the air by hand and then sealing the ouch. This is the reason why i purchased this unit. I am really impressed with the suction! I'm using it for Sous Vide cooking and this machine exceeded my expectations by a lot! If you are looking for a decent vacuum sealer, this is the one you are looking for and the price is very attractive for the quality you get too. Instruction manual is clear, operation is mostly automated (so you press one button to suck the air out and once that part of the process is finished, sealing of the pouch begins automatically). It comes with a roll of a plastic sleeve to make the required length pouches and a few already sealed pouches. I have tested rolls from a discount store as well, got similar results so getting more of the plastic sleeves/pouches is not a problem. All in all: Surprised with the quality for the price.

never used one before but easy enough and does the job nicely so that I have decent flat portions to put in the fridge and freezer. Only used for meat and meat products so far but fridge items stay fresh for a long time and freezer items are preserved really well, no burn and being fully sealed can be immersed in water for quicker defrosting. I tend to bulk buy when the meat I like is in season, now starting my 3rd roll with no complaints at all.
