What is the height from top to base, please

If you mean the working height, i.e. the maximum height of the platform, It is adjustable, about 3ft max with only the base unit. If you get additional elements, e.g. the guard rail with support poles, the height can be extended to around 6ft. A combination of base unit and guard rail allow you to work outside on the ground floor of a standard house. I hope this answers your question.
