Excellent product, following the provided instructions.
Easy to use, simple clear instructions provided. I can't help with "warmth" I don't understand the question. The instructions said the warmer the water you use the quicker it sets... Which is true. Anyway anybody struggling with this stuff do some little practice runs, small stuff like a finger in a shot glass, before you use it all up. This sort of thing always takes a little practice to get right. Use the instructions provided and it's fine. This isn't silicone and so you'll only get one use from the moulding as it seems to need to be destroyed to recover the cast. That said, the nature of the product causes the moulding to shrink over time and so needs to be cast within about 20 minutes. So far it has made perfect casts in plaster, silicone and resin. Excellent product, the details this stuff pick up are amazing.

Good product
Great product, shows fine details , easy to work with when used with cold water (gives you longer to work with the product)Unfortunately one of the bags had a small hole and had clumped so couldn't be used. Will buy again

Perfect, Temp is Key!! WATCH video
The media could not be loaded. Filowed the instructions and mixed fine. Also watched a Youtube video which used a mixer - I useds a egg whisk instead, even though it said not to, I mixed intead or beating/whisking it and it blended finein the allotted time. The key is temperatures. 30ºc is perfect, I done 28 just to give me time as it was my first go and didnt want it setting while mixing, it worled for me.Ratio says fill the container.with water, submerge hands in and mark the level.Empty, dry out, then fill with Alginate up to same level, and thats you ratio. A bit spilled out, but not much. Sets quick at the right temperature, was only standing for 3mins, + 1min to make sure. When adding the plaster, make sure you tip the mould side to side a bit when it reaches the top of your fingers to avoid air pockets.Keep hands cloae together and take out any loose mould and little bits, u used my hands, then a hair dryer for the little crumbs before adding in the plaster.Give is a shake (just like baking a cake before you put it in the oven) before leaving the plaster to set.

I've used better
Having used one of the kits before, I thought I'd save a little money by buying the bits separately. When I used the kits previously, I had no issues, mixed smoothly and set relatively quick, with a good result from the cast. When using this one however, it's was less easy, despite it being the same stuff. Instructions say use 1:1 ratio, which is way too much. But then says you may need to add more water. It's didn't mix well at all, several attempts and was very lumpy. I added it as suggested. The cast was decent, despite my child moving a lot, probably because it took so long to set. The Instructions did say use a thermometer as water should be 30 degrees, but then went on to say warmer water will speed it up and cooler slow it down. I didn't have a thermometer so kind of guessed (I used warm water, as the previous kit I used said that), Instructions are too vague and specific at the same time. Gave up on the idea in the end.

Good but needs improvement
Good price, came very quick, instructions could be a little bit More specific when it comes to mixing it with the right amount of water. For 1kg of alginate I personally used about 3.2 litters. Otherwise pretty good, reveals all details, sets very quickly! It became ROCK SOLID just after 4 minutes or so. I used a bit of oil on my hands to let them slide out a bit better.
