ddrum Digital Drums DD3X Electronic Drum Set, Black and Red

So im sitting here with this awesome drum set that apparently is missing the rack mount system!! And also to say my son..and DAD are not very happy rt now!!!UPDATE: Well, judging by the other reviews it looks to be a shipping problem more than anything. It seems like there should have been two boxes with this set. One containing the drum pads and module and the other containing the rack mount system. One guy here got just the rack mount while me and another only got the drum pads amd module. I spent some time with customer service yesterday(xmas day) and it looks like the problem will be resolved fairly quickly. Ill update my update when the next box arrives either tomorrow or monday.btw, i set the pads up on the floor and had also purchased the dd50a amp (from another site). This set sounds incredible!! Once its finally mounted my son will be totally satisfied! That makes DAD very happy!!Update to my update:The reck mount system just arrived! This thing is heavy duty! Ive changed my rating to 5 stars as the rating reflects the quality of the drum set(now that its complete). Customer service is top notch,VERY impressed!! Dont know many companies that would call ME to resolve an issue as promised thru their process! Again VERY impressed!! Thank you! I hope the other two guys here had their same issues resolved as easily as i did!

terrible. all system fell apart in less than 1.5 years. And I only used it as a recreation.The control panel is making all kind of weird noises, tan it resets itself.The Kick pad died and I cant find replacement anywhere. ended up buying Yamaha kick pad that actually works with the DD3X.Customer service for these sets is non-existent. They will refer you to the local dealer and the dealers don't even know what you are talking about.

Be careful when buying this product, because the rack did not come when I bought, and from what I saw in the comments below, most also not received.The battery quality is good, but has some problems.The cymbal's does not have a good answer, sometimes fail, principamente the hi hat.The volume of the module are low, even putting maximum power, the volume is still not good.

It showed up without a rack. Useless without one. Bs.

I own two kits of DD3x's and use them in my teaching studio. I have only had one issue, a cymbal jack became loose after a few months of daily lessons. Contacted DDrum and had a replacement within a week, no charge. It pays to register your gear when you first get it...eh? Five stars for quality, durability, play-ability and ease of assembly.

Really quite disappointed with this kit. I purchased because ddrum is known for its triggers and I thought for sure they got this down to a science...WRONG! This is nothing more than an overpriced kids toy. I gave it 2 stars because the rack is VERY well made, So its not a complete piece of crap. I have had trouble with the responsiveness of the pads, as well as the module making all kind of "fuzz" sounds. I tried to return it to ddrum but because I had discarded the box for the rack the day after Christamas... Dumb I know. I would not recommend this to any one. ddrum makes some really nice stuff, (I have one of their Dominion series Kits) But this is not one of them.

This is one of THE worst electronic kits I've ever played on. I got this after having Roland for several years whose plastic frame had given out and so I was looking for something affordable and sturdy. The frame on this ddrum kit is strong, I will give it that. However, the actual pads/triggers themselves are absolutely horrendous!!! The pads seem incapable of capturing nuance or subtlety so unless you play only simply rock beats with no contrast, dynamics, accent/tap relationships, or what have you, you will notice the lack of any of the flair in your playing. This piece of garbage could not even recognize flams unless they were played R-E-A-L-L-Y open. Oh and even after switching out the crap factory chords for some gold tip Monsters and then switching those out again, expect pads to randomly not respond.To be clear, DO NOT BUY THIS KIT IF:1. You play with any semblance of dynamics or nuance and you want that represented.2. You like to have pads/triggers translate what you do 100% of the time.3. You like to control hi-hat sounds without having to lift your foot in the air to get the cymbal to sound open at all.4. You feel reliability and response are important in an electronic kit.This is the first and last ddrum kit I will ever purchase! My Roland served me well for several years. The pads and module outlasted the frame! So I'll be putting my Roland equipment on this frame and scrapping these PATHETIC pads.Consider yourself warned! Please I beg you purchase something else!

Bought this kit after hearing that ddrum is making the leap back into edrums. Very impressed with tracking and the rack is heavy duty. I'm using this kit as a practice/recording piece in my apartment but would not hesitate to bring it to a gig.
