Hi there! 1.8 x 8.5 x 11.2 inches

My description has no picture... what figure is it... what character?

It is the Marvel Legends Vintage Collection Convention Exclusive Deadpool

Is this figure basically for collectors or will my preteen grandson be able to actually play with it?

The item is mostly for collectors, because part of Marvel super heroes series. High quality details and very robust. Having said that, I'm confident to say that your grandson will be able to play and have fun with it. Let me know if you wanna have more details.
