I think the quality is good.
I think the quality is good. I guess the accuracy is good too. Everything is functional, of course. It's easy to use. The readability is average test strip readability, I guess. Worth to mention is, when I ask questions to their customer service, they reply very fast, which is definitely a big plus for this product.

No water hardness test
I didn't look at the description as close as I should have when I ordered these and was very surprised to see there was no water hardness test. While hardness doesn't change much after I set the hot tub up I still need to measure it to protect the equipment. The other tests worked as expected and had identical readings with my other test strips when I compared them. These will work fine for day to day testing but for setup I will need to use different strips. I have a 1 person tub that holds around 150 gallons of water so the chemical balance can change quite a bit after I've soaked two or thee times. That's why I check it every time I use it.

Not wrapped all together in bottle
These are ok strips, but I perfer them to have some in individual wrapping. These are all together in the bottle with a simple foil wrapper over the top. Once they are exposed to weather they tend to go bad. They are ok on accuracy, but won’t last as long as I’d hoped.

Results Were Similar to My Current Spa Test Strips on Most Tests
I use chlorine as the sanitizer in our spa and therefore was not able to test for a 'bromine' measurement/accuracy. It appears that a bromine is being 'calculated' when measured using NewTest strips, and reading that level on the 'free Chlorine' scale. It is possible to do this, however there are test strips made specifically to test Bromine levels and that would be my choice if I needed that particular measurement. I compared the NewTest Hot Tub Test Strips: 4 Way Swimming Pool Test Strips to my long term favorite brand, I'll refer to as 'current strips'. I liked that the NewTest package included a recent 'manufacture date' and far out/future 'use by' date. Similar to other brands, the bottle is sealed for freshness and strips are of similar size. The only obvious differences were that the NewTest strips instructed the user to 'dip for 2 seconds' where as my 'current strips' instruct only to 'dip'. The other difference was the layout of test areas of the strip. Some tests areas were located differently between the 2 brands, however each comparison chart matches the test strip layout, so no worries. I've included an image with my results between the two brands. My interpreted readings are circled in the image. Free Chlorine was slightly higher on my 'current strip' compared to the NewTest value . Total Alkalinity readings were similar for both. My 'current strip' measured pH as slightly low. The NewTest strip measured as slightly high. The Cyanuric Acid measurements were read at significantly different levels. I suspect in this case my 'current strip' is more accurate on this particular measurement as the spa water has not been changed or diluted for a few months and I expect the Cyanuric Acid likely has accumulated and should register high as my current strip shows. To summarize, my overall opinion on any test strip is that they are designed for a quick measure. Results are subject to technique, lighting, a person's visual perception as well as a host of other variables. The NewTest strips were consistent over a number of measurements and compared well for to another brand that I trust, with the exception of the Cyanuric Acid measurement. I will use the NewTest strips on my Chlorine sanitized spa with confidence for routine measurements, When a critical measurement is needed, I use a 'liquid/reagent' kit.

Test strips for my spa
I use these strips on a daily basis to check the chemical balance is my spa. They are a very way to do a quick check without the hassle of using a conventional test kit with the vials and drops of chemicals. My only concern is that the variations of color printed on the bottle (which are used to compare to the colors on the strips) are very close in color to each other, thereby making it somewhat subjective when trying to match which control color is closest to the color that comes up on the strip. They may not be as exact as a conventional test kit, but are useful nonetheless.
