Dubious. Not well built. Waste of money.

As a runner, I found this product very impractical. The biggest issue is that sweat and spit quickly block the vent, which makes it difficult to breathe and eventually defeats the whole purpose of using it. Despite the claims, it does not serve well for performance enhancement during active workouts. The design shown in the images is misleading – these trainers are not suited for running or any high-intensity activity. They may only be somewhat useful if you are sitting still in a dry or cold climate and doing light breathing exercises. For actual training benefits, I would recommend going for a breathing resistance mask instead. The only challenge there is the higher price, since no reliable manufacturers are available from India yet. Overall, this product is not useful for runners or athletes. It’s more of a gimmick than a practical tool.

Great lung trainer set. Great work out for your lungs

I find it does help with breathing. But it dribbles. Your mouth is kept open and all your saliva collects at the screw adjuster. Depending on how much how quickly your mouth wets it all dribbles out once it exceeds the end nozzle capacity (which isn't very much) and overflows. The video shows 2 guys working out in a garage and this would work fine in that setting, or maybe jogging or exercising outdoors. But if you exercise in your home, you may think twice about getting slobber on your floors, equipment, furniture etc. Or maybe consider some sort of spit-catcher. But it does help with breathing enough that I wish I could use it without regularly checking the nozzle for spit.

Using it while walking is interesting and effective—definitely makes you feel your lungs working harder. The build quality is excellent; these feel sturdy and durable. I’ve only been using them for a short while, but I can already notice the difference in my breathing strength. Lightweight, functional, and a great value for the money. Tip: Start with the lowest resistance and gradually increase it as your lungs get stronger. This will help prevent overexertion while maximizing results.

20 years on cpap and this is a great exerciser as I attempt to get off of cpap

Did not receive the black one which is the color I would've preferred... but anyway. They seem of very good rubber quality and the dial is solid. The instructions are a bit off, as far as I've read the way to work your lungs is breathing IN with the device and not breathing out and not the other way around as in the instructions with the packet. When I tried it I did feel a resistance even on it's easier level, will need to start slowly.
