I needed to braze copper sheet together and this was recommended because it has no lead. You of course need good prep and the right flux. I used the castellated method of joining the sheets then boiled the flux in some water and brushed it on and then heated it for penetration. The copper was 22ga. If you are working thinner stuff you have to watch your heat. I also used a propane torch and it did a good job. The rod flowed nicely into the castellated seam and when planished out you couldn’t tell where the brazing was. I’m very impressed as I’d never heard or used it before.

Not sticky, comparing with the standard BCuP-3 brazing rods sold in HVAC suppliers, it flows too fast. A standard BCuP-3 brazing rod (5% silver) has a melting range of roughly 280F(155C) to 305F(170C). This product doesn't have a standard melting range (the temperature gap between its solidus and liquidus phases).
