FREETOO Ergonomical Thumb Support Right or Left Hand.Thumb Spica Splint

This wrist support was instrumental in my recovering from tendinitis. My doctor recommended I buy a wrist and thumb support to help with the pain. After much reviewing of these supports, I settled on this one as it had so many positive reviews. So glad I chose it! It is fully adjustable and felt comfortable straight away. My thumb was unable to move much so the pain was minimal. And being able to wear it at night was a great. I wore it for several months and it is still in good condition, the Velcro is still fully functional. Great quality and great value for money. I would definitely buy again (but hopefully not !)

I bought the XS and it is completely adjustable with 3 straps so it can hold your thumb firmly to start with and then gradually loosen off as it heals to allow more movement without risk of re injury. Comfortable and secure. Very pleased with it. Enables me to look after my horses pain free and protected.

Was diagnosed with arthritis and tenosynovitis/tendonitis of the right thumb/wrist. Purchased several different thumb braces and support in the hope of finding one that is comfortable yet giving the level of support needed. I find this gives the best support yet comfortable enough to wear for a long period of time. Pros: The rigid support area is firm enough to give the required support without being too stiff. The rest of the brace is soft and comfortable. Can be used on either hand. I have small hands so bought the XS and find that it fits very well. It arrived well packaged and instilled confidence that this is a respectable product. Cons: The adjustable strap at the top of the thumb works really well, but beware not to pull it out of the slit to wash. I had pulled the thumb strap out of the slit to wash and hang as flat a possible. It was a struggle to fit it back through the slit in order to wrap it round my thumb. With a painful thumb and wrist I was unable to pull it through and had to have help. For future wash, I will not pull it out of the slit. Action: Bought one initially and bought a second for bedtime as it was so comfortable. Recommendation: I would have given it 5 ⭐️ if I did not have to struggle refitting the thumb strap. Despite that, I do recommend this thumb support, and that it is good value for money.

Bought this as the one I owned used a metal splint that lay across the back/knuckle side of the thumb, but I found it too painful to use. It looked like this one would fit either side of the thumb but it doesn't (on me anyway). To make it secure, the palm strap pulls it one way slightly so the splints aren't either side of the thumb, one of them is across the top of the knuckle. That said, it is sturdy enough to stop the thumb bending and I found it light enough to sleep with. Also, in the colder temperature, as daft as it stands, the tip of the thumb is left uncovered so it 'attracts' pain (that seems to be the case on all of them though).

Great product, fits well and ease of putting on and removing. Support the thumb well. Recommended.

I received this brace yesterday and immediately put it on because I’ve been having a lot of pain in my thumb joint. I slept with it on last night, and I honestly couldn’t believe the difference when I woke up this morning—my thumb had no pain! I took the brace off to go out this morning, and I noticed just a little pain starting to return. As soon as I got home, I put it right back on. What really impresses me is how comfortable it is. It gives my thumb and wrist the support I need without feeling bulky or uncomfortable, and it was comfortable enough to sleep in all night. I can honestly say this is easily in the top five items I have ever purchased. After just one day, I am extremely impressed. Amazing support, amazing comfort, and for me, an amazing difference in how my thumb feels. Highly recommend!

This is a great brace. I’ve tried a lot of the others, but this one seems to provide me with the most support. I experienced trigger finger (thumb) for months, and not only was the constant pain bad, but the locking and having to occasionally pry my thumb straight with my other hand was extremely annoying. At one point, I even decided to get it surgically repaired, but something stopped me. I did a lot of research instead and found that keeping it in a brace may help. Well, a few weeks of using this brace, and my trigger finger is completely gone. I still continue to use it every night. The material is quite soft, so it doesn’t bother me while sleeping. It provides just the right amount of compression, and it is also adjustable. I have had it for about 3 months now and wear it every night. The Velcro is still as sticky and durable as it was, and the material of the brace itself is as well. It hasn’t ripped anywhere, even after prying the straps apart and sticking them back on daily.

This thump split comes in a semi translucent plastic zipper bag and includes clear to read instructions. The brace itself has three hook and loop adjustments; around the wrist, the back of the hand and around the thumb, though the thumb was hard to tell was adjustable. The material was well stitched and the brace was decently stable. This brace is easy to put on, able to do on so in a minute or two with only one hand. The edges do fold under themselves a little oddly and the crease can cause irritation to the skin if sensitive. The material doesn’t breath well but even with it being looser than other braces across the palm, not only offers decent stability to the thumb, but lightweight compression to the wrist as well. All in all, this brace handles prolonged wear well as long as it if folded right and handles washing in a washing machine well without fraying or falling apart and offers decent lightweight stability with only light movements restriction.

August 3, 2024: I like the FREETOO Lightweight Thumb Splint. The fabric is comfortable and breathable. The instructions are four simple steps. I'll post the English part of the manual. I ordered using the size chart and the L/XL is an exact fit for US XL hands. I tried it on both hands and it works fine on both. It will fit over a watch but it's probably better to move the watch to the other wrist. It is possible to type while wearing the brace, but one would use the free thumb for the space bar. It's warranted for one year and the one I received was produced in June 2024. This will be useful the next time my thumb joints have cramps.
