We are a big hula hooping family. It's great exercise and fun too. The wavy part must be good for your core muscles. It first hurts a little around the waist, but then you get used to it. No bruises here. My kids love it. It was easy to put together and the colors are fun. I highly recommend this for fun and exercise. You don't have to be coordinated or an athlete to do this.

Bought this as a gift for my son who was really wishing for a hula hoop. He loves it. You have to put it together, but it's really easy & stays together just fine. My 9 year old can use it, but so can my petite adult self. This is much better and sturdier than the junky, lightweight hoops you find in the stores.

I was expecting something for weight loss. I understood it was 1 lb. but it is flimsy and light. The rings hurt and the circle isn't a circle, it is wavy. This product sucks and I will probably return it.

I purchased this, for my daughter, and I to share. It hasn't been as durable as I'd hoped. The sections don't stay connected very well.

After quite a bit of research on good quality Sports hoops for my 3 granddaughters I decided on the Wavy Hoop for Exercise. Had no idea how many options there were out there. They were such a good decision...very colorful, sturdy, and easy to use. That will be a Christmas gift they will never wear out. Assembly was literally a snap and twist.

I am a novice 'hooper' so I got this because of the price. It has all the advantages other reviewers mentioned (disassembles for travel and it's light). As a novice I don't know whether it's a good device, but it does the job for me. If I were a more experienced user I would probably be upset because it looks like you're buying a product for adults but the box clearly states that it's for for children under 60lbs. (I'm short so it works for me). So, 4 stars because of the inaccurate description.

My boys are 22 years old and I have done body pump classes, tony horton and nothing worked until this weighted hula hoop, I can watch tv and do the hula hoop 5 minutes one direction and 5 minutes the other way, I also wear 1 lb weights on my wrists and hold my arms up different directions, but I have lost all the weight that I set out to lose and it's fun and easy and not very time consuming.

This is a nice hula hoop but it is not for kids its huge. I bought this for my 4 year old daughter but this hula hoop is too big for even me to use I can believe that they list this as a kid sized hula hoop I am very upset that I wasted my time and money
