Not cheap but very supportive
Previously I have always worn the BLACK Superfeet insoles (they are thin, so fit most shoes) in my footwear. But decided to try these CARBON insoles for more support in trainers and walking shoes. Goodness, they are excellent. They are almost as thin as the BLACK ones, BUT the arch support is far more robust so gives better arch supports to my feet during long days of walking or travelling. They aren't cheap, but then they stop knee and hip pain, and that is worth it!

Not quite working as I hoped
Bought these to fit into a pair of hand made Cheaney brogues to stop feet aching until I have broken them in. Originally bough the Black version but they are a bit to thick, these are better but not perfect as the plastic heal support lifts your heal up by around 5mm or more and the foot arch a bit higher making my shoe tight and feel odd around the heel. So deciding if I can reduce the height of the black plastic support. However as far as the quality goes these inner soles are well made and do support your feet.

They work as hoped, very pleased
I've been using the superfeet black model in every shoe as they are amazing as low profile insole support, however I still had a pair of shoes that felt a bit constricted in the toe box area with them, so I looked again and discovered the Carbon model which takes care of that with a slightly thinner insole at the front of the foot part. They work exactly as I'd hoped, so I'm pleased. If you find the Carbon superfeet are taking up too much room in your shoe even with the orginal insole taken out (unlikely but I see reviews that say that) then it's time to consider going a half size up in your shoe size, so you can accomodate a high quality insole like this, it's not the fault of the insole. Start thinkng. Conclusion, highly reccomended, for very low profile support in your shoe.

Ideal for multiple footwear
I find that the carbon insoles are thinner than some of the other superfeet products. As such they are perfect for my hillwalking boots, cycle shoes, leisure shoes hence I own 4 pairs of these insoles - very comfortable without taking too much room in the footwear - fully recommend even though the price is extortionate

Excellent Insoles
I'm sure the fit was helped by the fact that I planned to use them with size 11.5 shoes, but they are absolutely spot on.I was slightly worried that they would make the shoes a little tight, but they really ARE low profile, as claimed, and mould to my feet really well.Despite that, they do feel pretty substantial; which is perfect as I bought them to replace the unusually flimsy insoles that came with my (relatively high end) hiking shoes, which steadily worked around the side of my instep and out of the shoe after a couple of hours of walking. They're not cheap; but I walk a fair amount, and I'm not disappointed.

More painful than normal insoles
I purchased a pair of vans recently and didn't realise how little support they had until I spent a weekend walking around a city in them. My feet were in pain! As vans don't have much room to add an insole, I researched to find a very thin one and came across the carbon model of superfeet. They fit in the shoe great and when I first tried them on they felt a bit hard but my heel and arch felt supported. However, after a measley 12 hours in them my feet were in so much pain it was ridiculous. I was limping by the end of the day. People say it takes a while for new insoles to break in and you've just got to trek through it. But I am not putting my feet in any more pain just so that these insoles might be more comfortable in the future, with no guarantee. Returned them as soon as I could. These are so hard and uncomfortable. I would recommend a squishier insole with more give.

Not for me
Didn't really get on with these. The heel cup moved about awkwardly and squeaked a lot. Customer service from Superfeet was incredible though and they swapped them for the Run Comfort Thin's even though I didn't order directly from them.

Quality great but not right fit for me
Quality is great but unfortunately the fit wasn't right for me. It's important to gradually adjust to them so wear for a few hours on the first day and slowly increase the wear time.
