Inferior product and poor service from Amazon.
This pruner won't even cut flower stems. Have been approved to return it but must pay shipping to JAPAN. It says made in Germany but was sent from Japan - where was it made?? Very inferior. Bought a better replacement for less than half the price but not from Amazon. This is the second inferior pair of pruners purchased from Amazon this year. It deserves no stars. As does Amazon's service on this.

They are an excellent product and I am very pleased I spent extra dollars for them.
So far they have been able to cut most of the live branches--some at least an inch in diameter. Their red handles make them easy to find whenever I have laid them down in the yard while I am working outside.I hope this helps. Faye Hayes
