24qt 4 Pack HDPE Plastic Black, Blue, Red, & Green Milk Crates

I ordered these for storing potatoes over the winter and they're just what I wanted. They are standard milk crates of the bigger variety; very heavy duty and colorful. I only needed two but the price for one itself was $27 (a three pack was $13 each). I found this deal for 4 and so each one cost just under $10 (all costs including shipping). Since I had been wanting a milk crate to hold things in the trunk of my car, too, it made more sense to order the 4 pack rather than buy them separately. They arrived in a timely fashion and undamaged. This listing is definitely the best value per item and they're useful for any number of storage or toting needs.

Very fast shipping. Extremely sturdy containers (should outlast me). Versatile in many ways. I have a bookshelf put together with these. Face the open side out and stack, using 4 nylon tie wraps to secure the bottom to a top and so forth. I use heavy duty shelf paper with double side tape to close horizontal shelf so small items don't fall through. I then secure them to the wall at the top and bottom crate with (2) screws. If you don't want the items displayed, you can hang a curtain from the top crate and it also protects from too much dust. You can also store small items in the normal position by lining the bottom of the crate. When you move, they are their own containers and makes packing much easier. Your imagination is the only limit on how they are used. I will definitely be buying more to solve some storage and organizational problems. Packing for hunting, fishing or camping is easier now too.

These are perfect for my use- I use them hold all my fishing tackle, hand lines, lures, etc and at the end of the day I can rinse everything as is and let dry in the crate. Stackable and with different colors I have each one stocked with different gear and it that makes it easy to load the boat. These are just like the ones you find behind supermarkets except they have no metal band at the top so they may flex a bit but there is nothing to corrode. I would get more(I have 12) but my room is starting to look like a dairy walk-in refrigerator...

If you want to risk getting picked up by the local police for stealing milk crates from the back of Wal-Mart or from behind your local grocery store (and they will get you on camera and they WILL actually call you in for taking milk crates), by all means go ahead and knock yourself out. Or, buy these, they're the EXACT SAME heavy duty crates used by dairies all over the country - and the cost is cheaper than the misdemeanor ticket and restitution when (not 'if') you get busted . . . The price here is quite inflated over the wholesale cost of the crate, but you're not buying and custom branding thousands at a time like a dairy would. They arrived well packaged, are of exemplary quality and they will keep my college bound step-son from running afoul of the law in his quest for the perfect milk crate for his dorm room. Perfect!

Purchased to store and transport wine and wine bottles. Each crate holds 23 tightly packed bottles. 24 would have been nice, but 23 without excessive difficulty in packing or excessive clanking of bottles when being moved about works for us. Crates could be a tad sturdier for our purpose, but they are not flimsy and should work well. We stack them on their sides and six high while the wine is curing. Very efficient use of space in a very small room. Better than wine racks that have to be loaded bottle by bottle.

Did not receive all the colors shown (1 incorrect), however, seller was prompt in replying to me and sent out the correct color.

Good crates for storing books. Durable good quality.
