WH 370 pcs Natural Fire Starters for Indoor Fireplace, 10 lb Large Box

I love these fire starters. They work every time. I purchase them often and have found that the quantity does vary. Sometimes the box says 10 lbs and other times 370 pcs. The 10 lb box doesn't always have 370 pcs but it is 10 lbs. Not an issue for me, it may be for you. They start the first time and even with slightly wet wood.

I used these all summer to start my charcoal kettle grill. They worked great! I typically used 2-3, but that was probably unnecessary, as they burn for 10 minutes or so each! With 185 pieces in total, it's definitely easy to use just a few at a time. I didn't specifically count them, but there are absolutely a lot of them! Essentially, they are basically shredded bamboo pieces glued together with a kind of white substance, which I believe is simply paraffin wax. Easy to lite and they burn clean. They do smoke if you don't break them apart a bit before lighting, but that appears to just be because of how tightly wound they are otherwise (they smoke from lack of oxygen). The box they come in is great and has an opening for easily getting a few out when needed. When I run out, eventually, I will order more.

These are very similar to the Big Green Egg version. These are just shorter, about 2" vs. 5" for the BGE version. They light readily and support a good fire. We use ours in a firepit.

These firestarters are EXCELLENT! They get the job done quickly and lighting them is so easy. We use three to start our fires in our fireplace and the burn is perfect to get kindling and small logs started, have not had them fail us even once! Great value for the money when you think about other firestarters. Even the box they come in is convenient for storage of the starters.

So I used these to start a pellet stove they did work lit very quickly and lasted for about 3-5 minutes the only negatives were they are messy fall apart and leave residue behind the other thing was I had to use 4 to light the pellets bottom line I’ve tried them all and none of them are perfect they all have pluses and negatives!!

I use this along with my gas starter to start a fire in my home. It only takes a few fire starters combined with some kindling to start and sustain a fire. What I especially like about the fire starters are that they're natural. There is no addition of strong smelling melting waxes that leave a mess in your fireplace. Simply light and then they do their intended job, start a fire.
