ITO EN Japanese Barley Tea Kaori Kaoru - A Refreshing Taste of Japan
As a fan of Japanese culture and beverages, I recently had the pleasure of trying the ITO EN Japanese Barley Tea Kaori Kaoru, and it's safe to say that it left a lasting impression.First and foremost, the packaging exudes elegance and simplicity, which is characteristic of many Japanese products. The tea bags are individually wrapped, ensuring freshness and convenience. The design reflects the attention to detail that is synonymous with Japanese craftsmanship.Upon brewing, the aroma is what truly stands out. The "Kaori Kaoru" (fragrance and flavor) aspect of this tea lives up to its name. The scent is subtly nutty and earthy, evoking a sense of tranquility and comfort. It's a wonderful departure from typical herbal teas and a delightful journey into the world of roasted barley.Taste-wise, this barley tea is both soothing and refreshing. It has a mild, toasty flavor profile with just a hint of sweetness, making it a perfect companion for both warm and cold servings. It's worth noting that this tea is naturally caffeine-free, which makes it suitable for sipping throughout the day or in the evening without any concerns about sleep disruption. The ITO EN Japanese Barley Tea Kaori Kaoru is not just a delightful beverage; it also boasts potential health benefits. Barley tea is known for its antioxidants and potential digestive aid properties. While it may not be a miracle elixir, it certainly adds to the appeal of this tea as a health-conscious choice. However, there's one caveat to be aware of: the tea bags are on the small side, and if you prefer a stronger brew, you might need to use multiple bags or steep them for a longer time. This isn't a major issue, but it's something to keep in mind if you enjoy a bolder flavor. In conclusion, ITO EN Japanese Barley Tea Kaori Kaoru is a delightful and aromatic tea that offers a genuine taste of Japan. Whether you're a seasoned tea connoisseur or just someone looking to explore new flavors, this tea is worth a try. Its elegance, soothing qualities, and potential health benefits make it a standout choice among barley teas. So, sit back, relax, and let the fragrant essence of Japan take you on a sensory journey with each sip.

Refreshing
I love cold barley tea! It's been too long since I've had it. Best for hot weather. Very easy to make and tastes great. As others have stated, one teabag can make 1 litre.

perfect for hot, humid summers... in Central Texas!
I've finally broken my horrible diet soda habit with something much better -- iced roasted barley tea! water is fine, but somehow this cold, toasty water is much more refreshing. it tastes more interesting and I find myself drinking a lot more water this way. couldn't be easier to make -- you just pop a teabag into a 1-liter pitcher and let it brew for a couple of hours. you can heat the water for brewing if you like; I prefer it the simpler way, but either is good.one bag seems to be a good amount for one liter or one quart of tea -- it comes out a satisfying, medium honey brown color and tastes roasted, toasty and just a tiny bit like coffee. I think it soothes my stomach and my mind, too -- or maybe that's the placebo effect. either way, I'll take it! I haven't tried any other brands yet, but I'm sure I will. if I find one I prefer, I'm sure I'll come back here to edit my comment. for now, this is the best (and only) roasted barley tea I've had.I can't believe something finally broke Big Soda's grip on me! lol I'm so glad I tried it.

Delicious, Caffeine Free Treat!
This is an amazing tea. The sachets are big, plenty for a liter or so each. The value is fantastic for what you get. The roasty smell hits you immediately when you open the package, giving you a hint of the flavor you are about to experience. It could not be easier to make. If you have a pitcher, drop in a sachet (or two, if it's a standard 2-liter pitcher), pop it in the fridge, and go to bed. When you wake up, you'll have a pitcher of delicious, caffeine-free tea to drink all day!
