Used these for hanging pans from ceiling. these 12 inch long hooks make it easy for me to take pots and pans down from the ceiling unit. Good quality item, not to thin or thick.... fits the holes in my pots and pans handles. The bottom hook is open where the handle would hook on, the top hook has a "clip" that prevents the hook from coming off the hanging rod. Excellent design, recomend.

I've got a bird feeder in my yard that the local squirrel loves to get into. No matter how I attach the feeder to the tree he knocks it down. I saw these hooks and figured I might as well try. They're awesome! Unless he learns how to open the safety buckle, which is highly unlikely, he ain't getting nothing to eat.
