D-Link AX3000 5G NR Cellular Gateway WiFi 6 Router, Optimized High-Gain Antennas, Dual-WAN Failover, Parental Controls, AT&T Certified (G530)

This very expensive router did not work at all, but I couldn't return it because I had to travel out of the country. Now it's the most costly plastic box with useless electronics inside. I had to give one star because of the minimum rating requirement. However, I would have rated it lower.

It's working as it should.

The G530 5G NR AX3000 WiFi 6 Router is an awesome router so far, brought my internet speeds from a measly ~10Mbps to on average above ~100Mbps. This is mainly because it is able to pick up and distribute the wireless signals much better than the wireless Hotspot I used to use (obviously still limited by my ISP and environment). Especially awesome since I live in a rural area and it is still able to maintain those speeds. It does require restarts every once in a while (like everything) and can take a little while to start back up. One negative is that I have yet to find a configuration for certain DHCP settings like static reservations, but that might just be me :] Definitely would recommend it if you use a SIM card for internet connectivity!

Bought in late March, 2026 for my T-Mobile 5G home internet. Contrary to the description, T-Mobile said it was not supported by their network.

First, following the instructions result in security concern from Safari. Second the screens do not follow the D Link instructions. The on screen steps all say to have a wired connection to the router but not the instructions. I ignored them and things worked. I missed it, but looks like this device only provided a 5 G connection. My security cams are 2.4G I'll have to use a converter. Seems quite fast wiht AT&T service.
