I put this around some small shrubs, to protect them from the local wildlife. It's easy to cut and trim, holds together with standard plastic zip ties, and looks nice when in place, since it's green and not bare wire. It's not going to stop a deer or other large (or determined) animal, but as general protection, it works well.

So.... this hasn't gone around trees yet... but it did come in handy for keeping three kitten in a kennel! Because it was malleable, we were able to bend the top and keep them from escaping when they started to climb a lot. After we know that they can fend for themselves, we will take it off the kennel and use it for the intended purpose, around the trees. Where it is lightweight, we plan to use zip to keep it in place. I really like this stuff. It is easy to work with and I'm not tearing up my hands to get it where I want it to be. I recommend.

I don’t know what I was thinking when I planted blueberry bushes so close to the chicken coop, but here we are. The tiny bushes were getting eaten by the chickens (I free range), so I had to do something or risk losing the bushes. I pounded three stakes into the ground around each bush and then cut and attached this mesh with the zip ties. It is working perfectly. The plastic mesh is a little stiff so it holds a shape and doesn’t sag when attached to the stakes. The small holes don’t allow enough room for the birds to peck at the bushes. The mesh is the right height for my needs and is serving the purpose. Judging by the thickness and the fact that it is plastic, I expect to get a couple seasons out of the mesh (or at least until the bushes grow higher and then I’ll use bird netting). This mesh is so easy to work with. Just cut and secure. Easy peasy. Five stars.

Purchased this to keep the rabbits from enjoying our vegetables this year. Used it around a raised planter beds and it has worked amazingly. It’s not extremely tall so pay attention to the measurements, but this has really done an amazing job to deter the rabbits and that’s what counts. It’s easy to cut to length if needed.Very flexible but still heavy. You will have to use strong stakes to keep this clamped down.

This chicken wire stuff arrived as depicted. My husband used it to protect a sapling apple tree we grew from seed and just transplanted from the pot to the ground and it’s done a great job protecting it during a couple pretty intense thunderstorms/tornado watches here in MN. So it does seem pretty sturdy so far.
