I'm reviewing Amrules Cheese Cloths for Straining, 4PCS 36x36 Inch, Grade 100, with Hemmed Edge.This cheesecloth is so much nicer than what's generally available. These 4 pieces are each 1x1 yard before washing.First of all, I appreciate that it is unbleached and hasn't been treated with harsh chemicals.Second, the edges are hemmed, so I don't have to worry about it fraying and getting threads into the foods I'm straining.Third, it's grade 100 which is the highest grade cheesecloth available with an even and tighter weave than lower grades, yet still has an open enough weave for culinary uses such as straining juice, making cheese, or thickening yogurt.Upon arrival it was unlike normal cheesecloth in that it was perfectly flat and smooth, but after washing it took on the crinkled cheesecloth look. I washed it on a normal cycle and allowed it to air dry. All of the edge stitching stayed in place. (See photos.)These cheesecloths are large enough that they can be folded to get the number of desired layers without needed to use multiple cloths.I find $8.99 for 4 large pieces to be reasonable. I would purchase these cheesecloths again.As a side note, these Amrules Cheese Cloths are made in China.

My spouse is very particular of the cheese cloth she uses in the kitchen, and these are exactly the quality she is looking for. They allow the liquids to go through whilst preventing thicker things to get through. When squeezing it, it does not tear. Finally, they clean well. Be aware that there is the possibility of them getting stained, but that it will not change the quality of the cloth at all. A most wonderful product indeed!
