Nice product, amazing customer service
Impressed with the product but even more with the customer service! I have the button a little crooked so sometimes would not activate when pressed, especially from one side, that being said, I contacted the customer service and I have to say it is the best one I ever reach out. I ended up receiving a free unit and free filters, still can't belive it. Faulty units can happen with any brand... but customer service like that will make me buy from them again if I have a need (this is my third reverses osmosis machine I bought in my life) and would definitely recommend this brand to anybody asking just for the peace of mind of the customer service alone. That being said love the machine too! It's a big step above the other one I tested out, way quicker, super quiet. ***other thing if you are wondering you CAN hook it up with a fridge, I was a little scared with the starting button being electronic but jut put a T connection and the unit will start when the pressure in the output drop down exactly like a less fancy one so now even my ice in my fridge have quality water :)

Good water
I'm using this in North New Jersey. The water here is pretty good, but quite chlorinated. It comes from rain reservoirs in the Northern part of the state. I've used Bri* filters for decades and it produces acceptable tasting water, but not necessarily remove the toxins. It's also a chore to keep refilled, and we use lots of filters. I figured, I'd splurge on a system that will remove as much toxins as possible and supply "unlimited" water with minimal maintenance. The hardest part of the installation was actually electrical since I had to add an outlet under the kitchen sink. That took the better part of 3 days, and in the process I blew out 3 GFIs across 2 circuits, and necessitated multiple trips to the hardware store for parts. In comparison, installing the X12 took only half a day - with no trips to the hardware store. The X12 installation is mechanically simple. I already had an unused facet sprayer hole (perfect for the X12 faucet), so my only permanent modification was drilling a 1/4 inch hole for the waste water hose. A real difficulty was finding space to work under the sink. So I dry ran each step of the installation to anticipate problems. I manage to assemble most of the cold water assembly outside of the sink before finally tapping into the cold water line. Likewise, I was able to insert all 3 plastic lines into the X12 outside the cabinet before heaving the very large and heavy unit into place under the sink for final electrical hookup. My wife provided a large rectangular planter box as a leak catcher; and I added 2 wood blocks to keep the X12 elevated above the box. I've since placed a SwitchBot leak detector in the box - just-in-case. The installation is thankfully leak free. I semi-accidentally registered the system. After heaving it into place, I realized that the serial number is on the back. Peering around with my phone-as-flashlight, I noticed an NFC label to the upper right of the unit. My phone scanned the label and that registered the X12 via the Waterdrop App. Apart from registration, the app is not necessary since the unit and the faucet has filter status. The water tastes really good. A blind test of raw water, Bri* filtered water, and Waterdrop was no contest. It's convenient to no longer worry about having pre-filtered water on hand, or waiting for enough water to drip through a filter. However, after the novelty of water-on-demand wore off, we've taken to filling water jugs for even simpler access to water. We've set the faucet to automatically dispense 50oz into a jug - hands free. That also minimizes cycling the pump and faucet. And oh, the pump is near silent - running water is all we hear.

Best water filter!
Extremely pleased with the Reverse Osmosis X12! Quality of the filtering unit is undeniable. We take our water from our lake which is normally yellow once out of the faucet after being filtered by our primary unit. Once going through the X12 it is cristal clear! Not too hard to install it yourself. It took approximately 2 hours. Unit is very quiet. The electronic faucet coming with the unit will fit in standard holes made on counter top. Ours is made of quartz and the faucet replaced a soap dispenser. Customer service is quick to reply to any questions or queries you have for their products.

Thanks to Olivia and team Waterdrop!!
I have been searching for a reliable water filtration system to ensure my family has access to clean, great-tasting water. The Waterdrop X12 Mineral Reverse Osmosis System has been a fantastic addition to our home. With its 11-stage filtration, lightning-fast flow rate, and sleek design, it’s exceeded my expectations. Special thanks to Olivia from customer support, who made the experience even better with her outstanding help! Setting up the X12 was easier than I expected, taking about 35 minutes with the clear instructions and quick-connect fittings. I used an existing hole from our old soap dispenser for the smart faucet, which looked sleek on our countertop. I did have a minor issue with a loose connection, but Olivia from Waterdrop’s customer support was a lifesaver. They sent over a part to fix the faucet for overnight shipping, and Olivia followed up after the installation, ensuring no leaks. Her expertise turned a minor hiccup into a smooth process, and she offered a major July 4th holiday discount on the unit that I had already purchased as a price match! The water quality is phenomenal. Our tap water had a slight metallic taste and a TDS of 130 ppm, but the X12 reduced it to 20-35 ppm, resulting in a clean, refreshing flavor. My kids now drink more water because it tastes so good, and I’ve noticed a difference in our coffee and soups. The fast flow rate is a game-changer for our busy household—filling a pitcher for dinner takes seconds. The mineral boost gives the water a smooth, almost bottled-water quality, which we all love.
