The bike arrived after fifteen days which was good but on putting the bike together I discovered the brakes were set up with the right hand brake lever operating the rear brake instead of the front and the left hand brake lever operating the front brake instead of the rear. This brake set up does not comply to the regulations for bikes sold in England. Also both wheels were slightly buckled but fixable.I notified the company that sold me the bike, about these defects and they ran me round in circles not admitting to the faults and even saying the brakes were a scientific set up.In the end the company that sold the bike offered to pay to have it put right but I no longer trusted them and had it fixed myself and now I am happy with the bike.

This is a great mountain bike! It is amazingly light and looks great. It arrived quickly and was very easy to assemble. I was a very avid mountain biker in my 20s commonly doing what I would consider expert level 20+ mile loops throughout Arizona, Nevada, and Utah, but I have been away from the sport for awhile after starting a family. Once I deciding it was time to start mountain biking again I decided I would like a carbon fiber bike. When I began to do my research I was blown away to see how much a carbon fiber bike could cost. You can easily spend 5 or 6 thousand dollars or more! To much for me. Thats when I found the BEIOU. I originally thought it was too good to be true but after reading many articles and reviews I decided to go for it. This bike did not disappoint. I did change a few components. The seat was way too hard so I bought a more comfy model. I also added clippless pedals. The “freewheel” is kind of loud but that’s not really a bad thing when on a crowded bike path. Bottom line you actually get more than you pay for with this bike.

I really like this bike. I have been wanting to replace my old bike and have looked for 6 months at bikes. I didn't want to spend thousands on a bike but wanted something that was on par with those. I ran across this and at the time it had 6 reviews. I researched throughly at the parts on the bike and asked several bike shops about them. They all agreed that it had quality looking parts but a lot of unknown with the bike having little reviews.I took the chance and couldn't be happier! Shipping was very fast I received it in 3 days of ordering it. It was packaged very well, and wrapped in foam inside the box. The bike had zero damage. I put the bike together myself with little hassle. I have had to adjust the front derailleur due to when I was in 30th gear the chain would rub on it and make noise, other than that the bike is perfect out the box.The bike is very smooth to ride and extremely light weight, so far I have about 60 miles on the bike and no issues. This is my first bike with disc brakes and they stop great.The only thing I did was I did replace the seat, the one that comes with it is very hard. I will also be replacing the pedals they are just a basic pedal.Overall I am very happy that I purchased this bike, I know I will enjoy it for many years to come.

Hi all - This is a review of the BEIOU Carbon Fiber 650B Mountain Bike 27.5-Inch 10.7kg T800 Ultralight Frame 30 Speed SHIMANO M610 DEORE MTB Matte 3K CB20 (White&Red, 17-Inch)BACKGROUND - First of all, I would like to say that I spent A LOT of time researching mountain bikes before I purchased this one. In fact, my last bike was from 1991 and lasted me several thousand miles and much use. But, I decided that it was time since most of the old bike had fallen apart (seat, derailer, chain, handlebar grips, etc... Pretty much the only good part of the bike was probably just the frame. So, I went to a local bike store just to learn what has changed in the last 26 years. Wow! A lot has changed! Frame size, suspension, hand grips, seats, derailers, etc... So, in part of my research I came across this bike. It was a full carbon frame! Had great reviews! Great components, except for a few which are average (but, still great for the cost.) So, I decided to take the plunge and buy this bike. I did buy new pedals since I had read that they were mediocre.SHIPPING/QUALITY - I am always very hesitant on purchasing anything that may be damaged easily during shipping from outside of the U.S. due to issues with the sellers. But, this deal looked like it was too good to pass up! When the bike arrived, all of the components were in great shape (except for one issue - more on that later) and I could tell that each piece was well designed (Shimano shifter, great looking derailer, and of course a super light carbon fiber frame) and much care was taken to put each piece together.CUSTOMER SERVICE - The issue I had was due to a bent front wheel. Obviously upset due to my initial concerns, I contacted BEIOU the night I got the bike. Within several hours I had a reply stating that they would work with me to fix the issue. There were a few messages back and forth. I sent them a few pictures. Afterwards, they stated that they would either pay to have the wheel fixed by a local bike shop or just ship a brand new wheel (I choose the latter.)So, bottom line. This is a great bike (INCREDIBLE DEAL for a Carbon fiber bike), and WONDERFUL Customer service. So, if you have any reservations on purchasing this bike. By all means compare vs. other Mountain bikes (especially Carbon Fiber.) Look at the other companies. But, I have a feeling that you may come back and take a second look. If you do, I would like to say that this was a great experience, and I received a superb product for the price. And you will not be disappointed!Because this was such a great deal, my spouse bought a second of the same bike (different size, different color, the rest was the same).I hope this helps!

Bike is very light and easy to assemble.Front wheel was bent but seller is going to send me replacement.So far so god.

When I received the bike in 6 days from China I was not shocked due to other reviews. I bought the white version and I couldn't be happier. This bike is truly beautiful work of art. After looking at the company website I realised that the 17" and 19" frame are the same. The website states 17-19". The bike comes mostly assembled, just the front tire and handle bar need to be installed. Like most people I swooped out the seat for one that's softer. The peddles are more sized for kids so those had to go, and the narrow handle bars have been replaced with a wider riser bar. I changed the grips also. So far I would recommend this bike to anyone that's looking for a carbon fiber mountain bike. The weather here in Michigan is a little cold for riding, so as soon as it warms up I'll get out there and do some riding then update this review.Update:It's still to cold for riding so I decided to take the bike to a bike shop to have it looked over. Go thing I did, the front derailleur was broken and the cable had a issue and needed replaced. Having the bike looked at including the extras cost only $80 so I feel I got off easy. I will update again after hitting a few trails.

Awesome bike for the price. I had a local bike shop put the bike together once I received it and I have had no problems with the bike. 5 months later and many trails this is still a good buy.

New Brand shows it's True Colors (please read full review, including the updated portion)ordered a week ago and like everyone else said...7 day delivery..that part is true and thats a big plus.everything came nicely wraped, as i begin to unwrap the bike I noticed some minor chip on the bike frame. Telling myself that this is a minor problem and as I contiuned the unwrapping process there was a quarter size paint chip off the center-bottom portion of the frame(fairly noticeble).I mean, where is the Quality Control??? I' certain that I was unlucky to have gotten the bad apple of the batch. Regardless this was something completely avoidable during quality check process..which proberly in all fairness never happend.Performs nice and going from alumium frame to carbon fiber is a nice upgrade. ;)The real value of the bike is in the frame and shimano Deore..everything else is pretty much generic no name brand. Which is still a great value consider the price of other carbon fiber frames.______________________________________________________________________________________________________Update from my previous review, Yes i was unlucky to have gotten the one with the minor cosmetic damage. However what Impressed me was Beiou's superior costumer service. they emailed me and asked that I took a picture of the cosmetic damage. Which I did, rather than sending everything back..its a big box...they issued me a small refund to compensate for it.while i was initially turned off, after this process I can say I'm a Happy costumer and would recommend them.Thanks Beiou

5 stars because of customer service and the ride quality.I live in a somewhat hilly area and most of my biking exercises are done by doing coffee runs on weekends, which is about ~2 miles away. Given that my age and weight, instead of walk home for the last mile, I was looking for a bike that's light enough, and the gearbox shifts smooth/nice enough that I would not have to take my focus away while peddling hard and keeping an eye out for cars. And on an occasion that I can hop off from the sidewalk and onto the street.Instead of spending multiple thousands of $$, I've ended up buying this carbon fiber frame bike, equipped with Shimano gears and disc brakes, for just a bit over $1k. On paper, that's a pretty good deal. And in reality, I had my doubts because spending >$1k for something that i've never seen/touched/felt in person, it better got to be PERFECT!So with that in mind, when the package came, there was not much assembly that I had to do, pretty straight forward stuff. And I spent quite some time to closely examine everything, making sure that there's no missing parts and abnormal noise.Every time I've had a question for something that i was not assured of, email replies were always within a day or two, with straight answers and to my satisfaction. Just to give you some ideas how picky I am, i questioned them why there's no plastic cover for the hole in the crank-set, they emailed me back that they would contact the manufacturer to find out more and a couple days later, they came back with an answer. The point is, they are not pretentious, and they are good with customer service.As for the bike it self, I took it to have someone thoroughly checked, there are a few minor adjustments on the brake screws and the spacer, nothing major, and the seller was generous enough to pay for the cost of the replacement spacer.I've been riding the bike ever since I got it. It's smooth, turns are good, brakes are good, when doing up/down shifts, they are predictable and do not have the big jumps like my older Specialized bike did. I am extremely happy about it.oh, btw, I am 5'7, and got the 17"/frame and 27.5"/Wheel one, which fits me perfectly.The only problem I have now is, people think that I've pay at least $2-3k for it. What a problem to have.

It came double boxed. The entire frame and all parts Were covered in packing. The bike was easy to put together and other than the rear wheel being a bit out of true, This bike is the sheet! Very light! Extremely smooth. The hydraulic brakes are spot on! I weigh 200 lbs and the front forks pressure was suitable. This an extremely good buy compared to my local bicycle shop which wanted 3500$ for a similar model.

Bike came in perfect shape. It rides great an excellent XC bike, but if you are doing lots of downhill I recommend picking up an all mountain bike instead.I like other I recommend:Changing the seat unless you are into races where you need a super light seat. The one that comes with the bike feel like a brick.Changing the tire to a tubeless setup, will prevent flats and lower the net weight by a few grams because you wont have a inner tube.Changing the pedals.

This is truly a great value bike. The frame is solid and the components are basic, but acceptable. I did, however, upgrade the pedals, seat, and front fork to my personal preferences. Regardless, if you're in the market for a decent carbon fiber hardtail, I doubt there's a better value to be found. Also, the customer service is outstanding. Emails are responded to within hours. Upon request, they provided me with spare parts without any hassles. I think it's always telling when a company makes it a point to offer a stellar customer service experience. Highly recommended.

Good overall bike, the rear derailleur need to be replace, after one 12 mile ride on a fire trail and the derailleur skips during shifting. I would expect a better quality one for a $1200 bike. The fork needs to be adjusted there is no marking so you wont know how much air to put in there for the rider size and weight. I had to get it off of Rockshok site and keep guessing the pressure until I got it to work form me.

Nice bike.... But tire keep getting flat.... Have not ride it yet since the weather is cold.
