Skechers Performance Men's Go Walk 2 Super Sock Slip-On Walking Shoe

I thought the wonderful Go Walk 2 shoes had become extinct since Skechers stopped making them in favor of the new (and less well-reviewed) Go Walk 3, so I was very happy to find this version of the Go Walk 2 still available. I already have an old pair of the black, mesh-style Go Walk 2s, which are the lightest, most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. My goal was to buy a new pair of the Go Walk 2s to be used indoors only, as a house slipper, because that's how light and comfortable they are.Alas, Skechers had "upgraded" to the Go Walk 3, and some reviewers wrote that Skechers had just ruined its line of the best shoes ever. The old Go Walk 2s are still available in limited supply from third-party sellers at super-high prices. I didn't want to take a chance on the Go Walk 3, so I was happy to find this Go Walk 2 Super Sock version at the same price as the old Go Walk 2.It's perfect. The "super sock" upper is just as light as the mesh on my old shoes, they look nice, and most importantly, they have the same sole and feel as the original Go Walk 2.I live in the Pacific Northwest in a home with mostly tile floors, so I keep my feet warm and comfortable with slippers year-round, but I don't like the sloppy feel or look of most slippers. When I realized I was often wearing my old Go Walk 2s in the house as slipper because the lightness and fit were perfect, I began my search that ended with these Super Socks. They will be indoor shoes only (surrogate slippers) because I don't want to worry about tracking mud, pine needles or water into the house.I normally wear Size 10 shoes (and my old pair of Go Walk 2's are that size), but because I tend to put on and take off slippers a lot, I opted for size 10.5, thinking they would be easier to slip on and off. They are, but these stretched out just a bit after several days, so I would have been perfectly fine with my usual size 10. No matter, they are still, in effect, the best slippers I've ever had, and I've had dozens.These are also great as outdoor walkers (not rugged hiking, but walking), if that's what you seek.

I bought these for a friend that has been struggling to find shoes that fit his feet and don't aggravate his arthritis . He has some limited mobility and can put these on easily. He is absolutely in love with them and he has no pain while wearing these shoes. He doesn't want to take them off. I have the same love for the Skechers Go Walks. I own a mens pair because I have sensitivity problems with my feet as well. These are not only comfortable but I can walk in them for hours. I wore a pair at Disneyland for 3 days and couldn't be happier.

I have used and worn different leather slippers/moccasins for years around the house, but they really don't have any arch support. I decided to try these and am glad I did. I bought a similar pair for my wife and she initially didn't care for them. Then within a week, she was wearing them even when out shopping locally. As far as mine go, I can't wait to put them on when I get home. Great support. When I go on frequent trips of 200 miles or so, I wear these while driving. Comfortable, cool in the summer and good support!

the claim is that the shoe is made of sock-like material. it absolutely is not. the shoe is very comfortable, but is not breathable at all. i wouldn't recommend this shoe for serious urban walking. i live in a big city and walk at least two miles a day; i've had this shoe for several weeks and the sole is already very worn. if all i did was walk around an office or run errands in a car, i would be pretty pleased. the shoe is simply not for hard core urban walking.

Most comfortable walking shoes imaginable. Got these for my two-week vacation in Venice and Florence. I did just a ton of walking (no vehicles allowed in Venice other than the boats). No blisters. Wear them with or without socks. Wear them all day. Love them. Love them. Skechers do away with the Go Walk 3s please and get back to everything that made the 2s a phenomenal shoe!

Perfect pair of loafers, I've destroyed about 3 pairs of go walk 2 so far and replacing them is always a no brainer. I dont wear real shoes unless I'm working or playing, any other time I'm in my go walks. Smashed my foot while dirtbiking and could barely walk in a regular shoe, foot felt fine in the go walk with the extra cushioning. I love these shoes.

I have 3 pairs of Skechers Men's Go Walk 2 Walker Shoes from several years ago and absolutely love them. I assumed these "Super Sock" walking shoes would be identical in fit, but they are slightly narrow. It's not uncomfortable, but it does place just a bit of pressure on my foot.

My husband loves these shoes. He is a requird to wear heavy steel toed shoes for work and the first think he does when he gets home is change into his Sketchers.

These were bought for the husband to wear abroad with no socks, he absolutely loves them for comfort and fit. They are very lightweight so handy if packing in a case and need to watch weight restrictions. Although lightweight they still provide the foot with adequate stability and comfort. You'd think being designed for the wearer to go sock less they would start to pong fairly quickly but we've encountered no odour at all from them. I'm going to buy a ladies pair and I have really bad arthritis in my feet so I will see how I get on, watch out for a ladies review in the autumn.

Great shoes. Comfortable and exactly as described. Good fit. Update 2 months after purchase - unfortunately I have reduced the star rating as, with normal wear, the lining in one shoe has separated from the inside sole for 8cm at the side seam. As the Amazon returns policy does not cover a return after 30 days, I have contacted Skechers to see if I can get a replacement pair. Very disappointed regarding how little time these have lasted.

Bought for my husband he takes a size 8, having experience of skechers I bought a 7 and they were still too large for him but they are great for me as I take a 6, I wear them as slippers and they keep my feet lovely and warm, I wear them all the time indoors and out, and when I had an ingrown toenail I wore them for work for comfort and they certainly were.

I got these while on sale, although I dont need another pair of shoes or slippers I was sucked into the sale.I dont regret it, they fit perfect and while they keep my feel warm but airy at the same time. everytime I take a step is just so comfortable and I think they look great

Bought as a present for elderly gentleman who finds it particularly difficult to find comfortable shoes. He is very happy and hasn't had to "wear them in". He usually has 10 to 11 so the 10.5 was perfect. They arrived well packaged, on time, in the Christmas period to Spain. I would definitely by these again.
