I liked the taste and airy texture good value freshness

I've eaten a number of Popcornopolis products before and been very happy. The Cheddar Cheese Popcorn cones that I could find in the grocery store were the absolute best. Also, their Nearly Naked buttered popcorn in the large red bags was also very good. Unfortunately, the Nearly Naked White Cheddar popcorn in the small bags was stale and did not taste good. I received the 12 bags on September 2nd with a best buy date of October 20, so perhaps they were getting too close to their expiration date to be properly enjoyed. Finding the products in local stores is challenging but ordering online I find almost cost prohibitive. It's almost like they don't want to sell their products because they make them so unreasonably priced. For example, they offer six small cones of the regular cheddar cheese popcorn for $26.99. Total ounces for the six cones is 5.4 oz., or $5.OO/per ounce of popcorn. It's good popcorn...but not THAT GOOD.

Where can you go wrong

I was disappointed in this popcorn treat. The description of the order did not prepare me for the contents of the package. I would not buy this product again.

I normally like fresh popcorn, but don't mind bags when you are on the go or simply want a smaller serving. Familiar with this brand but had never tried it before, so gave it a go.Flavor / TextureWhile most bagged popcorn lacks the crunch of freshly popped versions, this was softer to the bite than other brands. To the point of it being a bit stale. Since the "best by date" was only three weeks into the future, could be that this was an old batch. On the flavor side, I found it to be a bit light to medium on the cheese flavor. I was fine with that but my girlfriend thought it was kind of bland. The bags are a pretty good size and are truly full -- not much "air space" inside, so that's a plus.Overall, seems like a middle of the road offering. Not sure I'd order from this brand again.
