HTC Droid DNA ADR6435 Front Panel Touch Digitizer Lens Glass Screen Repair Part

This is great for anyone who has a cracked screen. We insure all of our phones but this was great because it was cheaper, by half price, of paying our deductible. They send all of the tools you need. Once we got the phone apart, we realized that both screens were broken (yes, there are two screens). So, unfortunately we had to return this screen because it was only solving half of our problem. We ended up using our insurance and getting the phone replaced. But, this is a great product and was happy to know this is an option.

Sadly, using this digitizer didn't go as planned for me. The ribbon cable was bent upon opening the package and didn't work after I installed it. That said, this seller responded to my complaint quickly and resolved my issue 100% and very quickly. I would definitely buy from them again.

I give this 2 stars because while it did ship intact and come with the kit as described, it is deceiving as to what I actually needed.I dropped and shattered the glass on my HTC DNA about a week ago. I did not have the accidental coverage and did not want to pay $200+ to have someone else fix it when the glass only cost $40. I purchased this after watching a video on how to take apart the phone and it looked pretty simple. What I did not know, is that the part that displays the image is attached to the glass in such a way that it is impossible to simply swap out the glass. If you do not have accidental coverage on your phone, you are stuck paying $200+ for a new screen/LCD display/digitizer. I also mangled mine trying to take it apart and I am now out $40 and have a non-functioning phone. I'll be taking it to a repair shop now and I write this to warn others, DO NOT buy the glass if your phone's screen shatters. You need to replace the entire front half of the phone.

not managed to change the digitizer and I run the risk of breaking with the screen

I purchased this item to repair the digitizer on my DNA. Unfortunately, you also need the LCD screen as well. The 2 will not separate! I broke the phone down only to find this out. If I would've known this I wouldn't have bought only this item. The sad thing is, I watched a youtube video to take it apart. When I realized I needed the LCD screen I put it back together & it didn't work. That was my error, but I wish the ad would have been more informative on the product as far as needing the LCD sdreen also. I gave it 2 stars because it arrived on time & they offered to take it back, but I sold it along with the phone to avoid shipping & return hassles.

My screen cracked. So I bought this and took it to those icrackurepair and phonefixit companies that are everywhere these days. There is apparently a 30 minute video showing how to use one of these to replace your DNA screen. It's so complicated that these companies won't even accept your business to try to fix the phone. So unless you are a maverick professional HTC DNA fixer opening your own company to fix phones, this product is pointless to purchase. I ended up having to just replace my phone entirely.
