2 Pack Acoustic Foam Panels, 48 x 24 x 2" Sound Proof Foam Panels for Walls

I recently converted a spare room into a small home office and recording space, and one of the biggest problems I ran into was echo and sound bouncing off the walls during video calls, voice recordings, and even while listening to music. I decided to try these acoustic foam panels after reading about sound dampening setups, and they ended up making a much more noticeable difference than I expected. Right out of the package, the panels looked professional and had a solid high-density feel compared to thinner foam options I’ve seen before. Once they fully expanded, the wedge design gave the room a more studio-like appearance without looking overly industrial. Installation was fairly straightforward. I mounted the panels on the wall behind my desk and in a couple of corners where sound reflections were strongest. Almost immediately, the room sounded less hollow and much more controlled. Before adding the panels, my microphone would pick up a lot of echo during meetings and recordings, especially when speaking loudly or playing back audio through speakers. After installation, voices sounded cleaner and more focused, and the overall acoustics of the room became noticeably more comfortable. I also appreciated how much they helped reduce harsh noise reflections while working. Even everyday sounds like keyboard clicks, speaker audio, and conversations feel softer and less sharp now. They don’t completely soundproof a room from outside noise, but they absolutely improve echo reduction and overall sound quality inside the space, which is exactly what I needed for recording and remote work. Another thing I liked was the thickness of the foam. The 2-inch design feels much more effective than the thinner decorative panels I’ve tried before, and the material seems durable enough to hold its shape over time without sagging. The black color also gives the setup a clean professional look that fits nicely with office or studio equipment. The panels are lightweight and easy to position, and once mounted they stayed securely in place. I also appreciate the fire-resistant material since that adds a little extra peace of mind when using them around electronics and computer equipment.

These sound panels make a huge difference in sound control. I padded my studio with it and now the rest of the house no longer hears my very high volume bass music. So at night middle of the day, it doesn't matter, my noise levels are contained and I can be loud without bothering anyone. I also thought these would be alot smaller then I thought. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened them and they were almost the size of my entire door. Because of the quality of sound dampening PLUS the overall size (which can be cut down to fit your needs by simply using scissors) this was a very economical and smart purchase. Worth every penny.

Extremely easy to install, simply peel the adhesive abd stick. Its of medium size thickness but works just as strong as other types in keeping the sounds muted. The panels are large and especially for the price point, this purchase was a huge deal in my favor. Very pleased overall.

I installed these and in the hour or so that they stayed in place that did absolutely zero sound proofing. And then they fell off. I have re-installed them four times and they fell off every time. The stickers are useless. But even if they did stick, they provide no sound proofing at all. Complete waste of money. Zero stars isn't an option but that's what I give them..

For the price, these aren't very good. They work decently well for high frequencies, getting rid of the shrill noises, but nothing for the lows as they're just not dense enough. I expected this, so I can't say I'm disappointed there. However, the adhesive is useless: these fell off a few minutes after being put up. They never fully regained their form, even after 3 days of being left out, so they don't look all that great, as they're uneven and not symmetrical. I don't feel like these are a particularly good value overall, as it's just a few pieces of simple foam at the end of the day, and the quality isn't very good.

These are great for the price. I let them sit for a few hours when I first opened them, then did ten minutes in the dryer and they were ready to go. The sticky patches that come with them don't really do much. I bought "better" sticky stuff, but it still failed. I ended up using black thumb tacks and it did the trick. These panels do not sound proof or prevent sound leakage. They do help reduce the echo in my home studio. Makes it sound more dead. Plus it looks cool (I'm sure the audio stuff is placebo and they just make a room feel professional. But vibes matter!)

I use these in my gaming setup and they actually helped reduce echo and make the room sound cleaner overall. The foam feels high quality, expanded quickly after opening, and was easy to set up. It makes gaming and voice chat feel a lot more immersive.

I returned the item. They looked great from one aspect. The issue is that there is no rigidity. When they inflate coming out of the package, they aren't rectangular. The stickers aren't really strong enough to hold while you are stretching it. I really wanted to like this product but am going to search for smaller squares or something that come more uniform.
