Key Issues
I have some key chatter issues. The key acts like it's being pressed multiple times when I press it once. Happens with my S and D keys currently. I love the profile though and the issue is intermittent so I can't pinpoint exact issue yet

Very good keyboard for both Mac and Windows users.
I've used more keyboards than I care to divulge the number of, but there's usually something that prevents me from giving up my Glorious GMMK Pro. For me, it's just about as perfect a wired 75% keyboard can be. That said, this Keychain K1 Max is really, really good, and that I won't be switching to it full-time is more of me being too used to the GMMK Pro to give it up than anything too bad with the Keychron. In any case, the Keychron K1 Max is a fantastic keyboard from start to finish. First, it works right out of the box with MacOS. No software needed, - it all works: Controlling my monitor brightness, the brightness of the keyboard backlighting (white only, boo), volume, transport keys etc - it all works perfectly in MacOS 15.1 (at the time of review). Switching to Windows? Easy, there's a switch you can easily feel for around back to flick to the side. You don't even have to flick switch, but things like ALT+F4 won't work till you do. This isn't surprising, but something to bear in mind. I use a KVM and this keyboard wired, so I'm often switching between Windows and Mac systems, which works a treat with this board. Key feel with the Gateron low-profile red switches is excellent. Truly excellent. Now, I'm so used to full depress that a low-profile takes some getting use to, but it does feel excellent, - really clean and smooth, and not too loud at all. Key consistency is good, minus the usual suspects like space bar/backspace etc, which will sound different due to the larger caps. Keychron do have a variant of this board with RGB instead of white lighting. Whether the white from the RGB layout is as pure and without flicker as the very clean white-only reviewed here remains to be seen. That said, since these aren't shine-through key-caps, you most just get the light bleed out of the side of the keys. Speaking of LED lighting, this isn't the cleanest around. I enclosed a picture with this review, where you can see the spacebar is leaking some light to the bottom of the B key (because of the space bar), and that's the most egregious case of light bleed. That said, you'll notice some light bleed all over the keyboard. It's not the end of the world, but it definitely doesn't give it a premium look, which is a shame. I also wish the USB Type C cable (braided), plugged in lower (vertically) so it wasn't so visible, but such is life. In any case, this keyboard is a delight to type on, has two different tilt angles, and if you want a low-profile, tidy mechanical keyboard, with the ability to use BT, wired, or 2.4Ghz wireless, - this should be on your shortlist. 4 out of 5. Very good.

Terrible power logic
Works sometimes, essentially goes to sleep all the time and requires you to type a bunch to wake it up before you can use it. Just embarrassing when you could fit so much more battery than an Apple keyboard which has no such issues. Wish I'd returned it when I could, it'll go in a box as a backup I guess.

Great aesthetics, mediocre quality
I've used it for three months, overall I want to like it for all the features it has and its form factor, but theres two major flaws with it: - Semi-fixable: The base is not perfectly level (typing was causing it to wobble), I had to level it out with some tiny padding on one corner under the rubber foot. But the height adjustments are not usable because of this without additional mods. Also replaced it with a new keyboard from Amazon and it still had the same manufacturing defect. To be clear, I tested on many different flat surfaces, the keyboards are simply defective. - Not fixable: The keyboard randomly starts repeating a key (until its pressed again). This is primarily on the 2.4ghz connection. But also happens when wired in. I don't expect bluetooth to be any better. The 2.4ghz connection latency is noticeable in some intense games.

Very thin keyboard, the edge between membrane and mechanical keys
This keyboard is insteresting: it has the portability of a small membrane keyboard but uses mechanical keys that are not cross switches but rather actual mini-switches. Typing on it is great and feels smooth when pressing every key. My only issue is regarding spacing between keys: I am not sure if this because I have been using regular mechanical keyboards for a while now but I find myself sometimes pressing the adjacent key instead of what I intended to press quite often, for example, sometimes I'll press the 'U' key when trying to press the 'I' key to the point that I have to look at the keyboard more often to reposition my fingers so I can track the proper keys. I am not sure if this is happening because the keys are slightly closer to each other which causes me to 'lose' track of their position and accidentally press other keys next to the key I wanted to press.

Premium triple-connection keyboard. No RGB but feels good
This keyboard goes well with my black computer setup, and has triple-connection modes. First, it can connect to my black computer via USB. Second, if I put the 2.4G dongle into my other PC and switch it to wireless mode, it can control my other PC without having to plug it in or move it. It also has bluetooth so it can connect to my phones, tablet, and even laptop too, depending on what I put in the pairing slots. This keyboard is perfect for gaming, however, it does not feature RGB. I think this is okay considering that my setup is going to be all-black with a little white, next to my other all-white setup which will have RGB flashing around, but it would have been nice for RGB support in case I did want to turn RGB on in the black PC at some point. That being said, you still can reprogram the keys using software to add macros and remap all the key buttons, so it's still a great gaming keyboard, just remember that there is no RGB. Also, the keys sound much quieter than the keyboard on my other setup, so I think this will go better with the quieter aesthetic I'm putting on this (mostly work but also some games) PC compared to the other dedicated-for-gaming one. Actually, if you happen to be a programmer and don't care about RGB, I think this is the perfect keyboard for you.

Repeated key issues
UPDATE: After 1 year I am have repeated key issues, primarily with A and S keys. I am using the keyboard wired and maintain a very neat desk area, no food ever, etc. Disappointing. The keyboard is no longer usable after only a year of not-even-daily use. Works great! I donโt bother with wireless for my desktop use as plugged in means it always has a solid connection and I can run the backlighting 24/7 if I want.

Nice feel but repeated keys ruin it
Looks nice and typing feels nice but frequently encounter issues with repeated keys. I keep having to fix what I type which negates any advantage I could get from this keyboard. Reading the reviews I realize I should have been more careful as many reviewers report this problem. Shame.
