Great Grip, Slim Design, and Solid Protection! I’ve tried a lot of phone cases over the years, and the Ringke Onyx really hits the sweet spot. The enhanced grip texture is the standout feature — it feels secure in the hand, with no slippery edges, which gives me peace of mind carrying around an expensive phone like the iPhone 16 Pro. The case itself is slim and lightweight but doesn’t feel flimsy. It adds very little bulk while still offering solid drop protection. The raised bezels around the screen and camera give that extra reassurance against scratches when placing it face down. Button response is excellent — tactile and clicky without feeling stiff — and the cutouts for the speakers, charging port, and cameras are perfectly aligned. Wireless charging and MagSafe work without any issues. The matte finish looks sleek, resists fingerprints well, and the overall design is minimal yet stylish. For the price, the quality is outstanding. If you want a no-nonsense, protective, and grippy case that doesn’t turn your phone into a brick, the Ringke Onyx is an excellent choice.

The Ringke Onyx case in Dark Green is a brilliant balance between style and protection. It’s really slim, so the phone doesn’t feel bulky in your hand, but it still covers and protects all the key areas properly. The textured finish gives it a nice grip, and the quality feels strong and durable. The dark green colour looks fantastic, especially paired with the orange accents – it really stands out without being over the top. Overall, sleek, protective, and stylish. Definitely recommend!

Quite happy with this product. It's not solid plastic but is more rigid than my previous silicone case and feels more secure in the hand. The edges are nicely knurled/textured giving a reassuring grip, a really simple feature which I've rarely seen on even the most premium cases. The protection around the camera array looks like it will also provide sufficient protection, particularly when used with in conjunction with the lens protector (that often comes with screen protector sheets) which it accomodates comfortably. I also like the fact that all of the buttons are covered, allowing protection while also not impeding them in any way. I haven't tested the mag ring compatability as this is not a featured that I typically use. In summary, a decent case that should offer sufficient impact resistance at a price that represents decent value.

I’ve always bought expensive cases for my iPhone; most recently I’ve insisted on using Caudabe cases. They’re excellent but hard to find in the UK, and not cheap, but I’ve always worked on the basis that you get what you pay for with this sort of thing. When I upgraded to the iPhone 15, I looked on Amazon to see if the Caudabe cases were available there, and came across this case from Ringke. It had good reviews, and so for a third of the price I thought I’d give one a try. Wow! This case is superb, possibly the best I’ve ever had for an iPhone. Unlike the Caudabe case the lenses have a full protective surround, that doesn’t interfere with the wide angle view at all. The micro-grip texture on the sides of the case is a work of art - the perfect fit for the tiny whorls of your fingerprints, which gives you a gecko like grip on the phone (and feels so good I can’t stop playing with the case and feeling how it almost sticks to my fingers when I hold it by the sides ☺️) I’ve only had this a month so far, and I haven’t dropped my phone in it (the Caudabe cases, although slimline do offer amazing impact protection) so I can’t tell you what it will be like in a year, and I can’t tell you more about what the impact protection will be like, but it feels very solid and for the price I’d say it can’t be beaten. And the only one improvement I can think of - can we have a version in grey please? ☺️

The case material is nice - it is slightly less grippy than I expected but still much better than most cases, while allowing sliding in and out of a pocket. The cut out for the camera button is quite sharp and has potential to dig in to the hand when holding it for long periods. I would have preferred this to be covered. The edges at the top and bottom are raised but not in the middle - this doesn’t bother me too much and allows easier swiping from left or right of the screen. Unfortunately the case I was delivered has a production flaw - one of the magnets in the case is clearly not flush inside the case and protrudes through the rear, leaving a slightly raised spot. It is very annoying and will result in a return. If the replacement is free of this issue I will update this review.

I’m going to edit my review, since owning iPhone 17 I’ve had 2 other cases one from another decent brand Spigen. But it felt too bulky and not that grippy. Though they had air cushions, and cover over the camera control but! I still came back to this case due to the feel, the grip and how thin it is! Such a perfect case if you don’t drop your phone and require the best protection for phone. Highly recommend, wish they had more colours though.

Feels like a premium product straight on the phone. Grip is reassuming in the hand, but not obvious to the eye. I had a camera protector on the back that I’ve had to remove because the case is snug around the camera, but that’s fine because it’s raised around the camera and the front screen so I feel confident placing it on surfaces on either side. Buttons work nicelu through the case as expected. 100% recommend

Thin and feels expensive

Questa cover ha praticamente tutto quello che cerco - dimensioni compatte, l'aumento di ingombro è veramente ridotto - buona protezione, con bordi più spessi sugli angoli, e rialzati per non far toccare lo schermo, anche con una pellicola in vetro - grip davvero ottimo, con i bordi con una texture che garantisce una presa molto molto salda. Quella sul retro dà un'ottima sensazione, anche se non aiuta tanto per il grip - ottimo fit e protezione fotocamere, che dà un aspetto uniforme al retro e non lascia entrare polvere, a differenza di altre cover che ho provato Un aspetto negativo è che avrei preferito tasti flottanti per dare più feedback, mentre un aspetto per me neutro è l'assenza del tasto fotocamera replicato sulla cover: dopo aver provato una cover con il tasto coperto, mi dava noia sbatterci e premerlo costantemente, e il feedback era pessimo. Preferisco non coprirlo e rischiare qualche piccolo graffio
